Hi-
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I’m Kelly, I’m usually barefoot, I wear overalls almost everyday, often have clay in my hair and sand in my toes. I’m a photographer/potter/drummer/surfer/yogi living in Mexico. I’m kind and open hearted, a solid friend and a flawed human who can laugh at herself.
I’m a baby whisperer and a kid magnet, always have been. Being around kids makes my day brighter and my heart bigger. I hope to raise a child who is compassionate, curious, brave, and confident. Our family life will be full of artsy messes, sandy toes, dog licks, and love. I will be a full-time, stay-at-home mom dedicated to providing a nurturing and loving environment with the support of my chosen family of other strong, single moms.
Life here is simple and slow: I get up, do my yoga and try to meditate while my dogs lick my face. I pick bananas from my trees for breakfast, teach pottery classes in the afternoons, walk my dogs on the beach at sunset with friends and their kids, eat tacos and repeat. I photograph a few fancy weddings a year in NYC and make enough to live “la buena vida” (the good life) here in Mexico.
I’ve lived a big life and gained a lot of wisdom along the way. All I want to do now is be a mom and see the world through a little pair of eyes.
My nephew Ian is adopted and is the heart center of our family. I’ve even met his birth mom and siblings on his birthdays. We are all very familiar and comfortable with creating a family through adoption and they can’t wait to meet the newest member of our family.
If you choose to make an adoption plan with me we would create that plan together. I will share with you as much information as you want as often as you want it.
I will love your child with all of my heart, unconditionally, forever.
