Meet Long and Melanie

Our Story
Dear Birth Parent, We know that considering an adoption plan is one of the most significant and loving choices someone can make, and we admire your strength, courage, and the care you’re putting into this journey. We hope that by sharing a few photos of us, you can begin to imagine the kind of life we would offer a child-one filled with unconditional love, support, laughter, warmth, and opportunity. Whether or not you choose us, we sincerely hope that you find clarity and peace as you move forward. Here is what we promise to a child and to you:
- To always do what is best for the child, putting their needs and happiness first.
- To honor your story and speak of it with love, honesty, and respect.
- To raise a child in a home where they feel deeply loved, supported, and safe.
- To nurture their education and inspire their curiosity.
- To encourage them to dream big, work hard, and follow their passions.
- To help them grow with compassion, confidence, and a sense of purpose.
- To embrace life’s challenges with hope, grace, and laughter.
- To celebrate their unique identity and the journey that brought them to us.
We also want to honor your role in their story. We are open to maintaining contact in whatever way feels right to you-through updates, photos, or visits. We believe in speaking of your love with honesty and respect, and in embracing a child’s full story, including where they came from and the people who love them. Thank you again for considering us. We can only imagine the weight of this decision, and we are deeply grateful for your strength and heart. If chosen, we will give everything we have to raise your child with unconditional love, unwavering support, and a life full of possibility. With love and respect,
Melanie & Long

Daniel and Tricia
United States
Dear Expectant Parent, We are in awe of your courage and strength in seeking an adoption plan. We want you to know how much love we have to give to your baby. It is a love that has been built over the last 16 years through our time together and that will only continue to grow. Your baby will become part of our everyday lives. As they grow, they will have so many adventures. They will have a lot of cousins and friends to play with, and a lot of family members who will want to hold them forever. We met 16 years ago while out with friends at a local bar. We had a mutual friend we were with that night. From there we went on dinner dates, nature walks and horseback ridings, and an engagement 6 months later. We were both in school and working to save for a wedding a year and a half later. We have always been hard-working individuals with a passion to start a family. We have built a strong foundation and beautiful life that we are eager to share with our future child. This consists of a strong support system, a safe home, and a quiet neighborhood. Daniel is a cardiac sonographer, and Tricia is a veterinary technician. We live with our loving dog, Dorothea. Our promise is to share your story with love and respect. Your child will know how much love you have for them and the courage it took to make an adoption plan. Even though we don’t know you yet, we think about you often and send you positive energy and prayers. We look forward to meeting you. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We want you to know we are 2 individuals who will love your baby with all our hearts. We will cherish them, show up for them, and love them unconditionally. With a grateful heart, Daniel and Tricia

Simon and Chelsea
England
Hello, We’re Chelsea and Simon, and we’re excited to start our family through adoption. We’re a warm, fun, slightly adventurous pair who love our home, our little everyday rituals, and the people around us. We’ve both always pictured a family filled with love, curiosity, and laughter, and we’re ready to give a child all the stability and joy we can. We don’t currently have children, and building a family hasn’t been a simple road for us. We explored different paths, including surrogacy, and eventually realized that biology wasn’t what mattered to us. What matters is creating a family based on love, connection, and commitment. Simon (French) & Chelsea (American) met on the app “OK Cupid” in Dublin, Ireland in 2018. We hit it off from our first date and had an instant connection. What surprised both of us was how different we were from each other, and yet how well we both understood each other so well. In 2021, we got a “PACS”, which is a civil union in France. In 2023, Chelsea proposed to Simon (and he said yes!). In 2025, we got married in a small and beautiful ceremony near our home in England. Simon spent most of his life living abroad before settling in the UK. He has travelled to more than 35 countries and loves discovering the world. He has a career in technology and volunteers as an emergency medical responder (EMT), one of his biggest passions. He also loves DIY and woodworking. Chelsea is American and a big animal lover – she’s been a vegetarian for 20 years. She works in nonprofit organizations around the world on issues like poverty and conflict. When she was 25, she moved to Ireland by herself. Having lived in New York City for years, she decided to finally go live abroad – a dream she had had all her life. Our families are split across the US (Florida, North Carolina, NY, NJ) and France (Paris, Lyon, Burgundy). We visit the US and France throughout the year to spend time with family and childhood friends, attend weddings, baby showers, graduations, and birthdays, and vacation. We couldn’t talk about our family without talking about our cat, Arthur! We can’t imagine our lives without him. He has a very strong personality and has us wrapped around his finger! (or maybe paw?) Looking into the future, we’d like to raise two children. Because of Simon’s citizenship, they will be both American and French, and we plan to teach them to speak both English and French. We want to make sure they have as many opportunities as they can possibly have. That includes a stable home, a good education, a safe, walkable neighborhood, access to nature and parks, and the chance to explore the world. We believe adoption should be seen as something beautiful, celebrated and spoken about openly. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. All our love, Chelsea & Simon

Cory and Kenadee
United States
We are Cory and Kenadee. We have an amazing 7 year old son, Brennon. For almost 6 years we have done everything in our power to grow our family. We are so grateful and excited to be starting our new journey with adoption. We feel strongly that we will be led exactly where we need to be to add onto our family. We hope this message is received with love and assurance that we have the best and most genuine intentions. We know that this is the greatest gift we could possibly receive and we’re so happy that you have made it to this point. That being said, let me tell you more about our family. Our family enjoys the simple things in life. We love going on little adventures to new places, eating out on the weekends, riding our fourwheeler, going laser tagging and spending our evenings outside at our firepit with our two golden retrievers. We plan yearly vacations so we can always have something fun to look forward to. It’s a priority for us to have lasting memories and quality time together. Cory fills the role of protector and provider perfectly. He always makes sure our family has what we need. He has sacrificed a lot towards his education and has been awarded his PHD. When he’s not working he loves to be on the mountains, or spending his evenings at home with the family. Kenadee was meant to be a mom and wife. She is a nurturer, a talented baker with her own business and a cosmetologist. Since having Brennon she has made the decision to be a stay at home mom. It’s always been a priority to be the primary caretaker of her children and it brings her a lot of joy to be present at home. Brennon is an incredible little boy. I’m convinced you couldn’t find a more kind hearted child out there. He loves his family fiercely! He is a lover of sports, legos and his nintendo switch. He has waited for a long time to be a big brother and he is ready to take on that role. He is constantly talking about being a big brother and all the things he will do with his baby sister/brother. We have been very intentional and happy as soon as we decided adoption is the route for us. Your child will know his/her story. They will know they came from a selfless birth mother that chose us to be their family. They will always know they are chosen, wanted and valued. We have so much love to give and promise to fill all the needs and wants of your child. We cannot wait to see Brennon be a big brother, to go on family vacations and see everyday life together. Thank you so much for getting to know a little bit about us. We hope you feel comfort and peace as you make such a big decision for you and your child. With so much love, Cory, Kenadee & Brennon
