Does it cost anything to be a guest?+
No — being a guest is completely free. If you're local to Utah, we record at Rookery Studios in Orem; if you're out of state, we're happy to record online.
Do I have to share every detail of my story?+
No. You decide what you're comfortable sharing. Before recording, we'll talk through your story together so you know what to expect and nothing catches you off guard.
What if I get emotional during recording?+
That's completely okay — adoption stories carry real feelings, and honest emotion is part of what makes them helpful to others. We can pause any time you need.
Who can apply to be a guest?+
Birth mothers, adoptees, and adoptive parents. You don't need to have worked with A Act of Love — what matters is a story that could encourage someone walking a similar path.
