Meet Eric and Anna

Our Story
We are Eric and Anna, and we are so thankful you are taking the time to get to know us.
We've been married for 18 years and have three wonderful children — Gabriel, Selah, and Landon. In 2020, our family moved to Kenya, where we've built a life we truly love. Living here has given our children the gift of growing up among people from many different cultures and backgrounds. We have a beautifully diverse community of dear friends that we love and treasure like family.
Why We Want to Adopt
Long before we had children, we knew adoption would be part of the family we hoped to build. Over the past 12 years, we've intentionally learned about healthy adoption, equipping ourselves to be the best adoptive family we can be while honoring your child's roots and birth family and helping all of our children grow into confident, whole, and healthy individuals.
Gabe, Selah, and Landon have grown up knowing that one day we hope to adopt, and they've walked this journey with us every step of the way. They are eagerly waiting to welcome and love their sibling. Also, if you choose adoption, we want your child to always know where they came from and how deeply they are loved by you. We believe your place in their story is irreplaceable, and we would be honored to create space for them to know and celebrate every part of who they are.
We also value openness. If that's something you want, we'd love to stay connected in whatever way feels right for you. We would be happy to share photos, video calls, on-going communication, and visits whenever possible as we regularly travel to the US to visit family and you will become family.
I (Anna) am a counselor and certified in adoption competency. That training has further deepened my understanding of the unique joys and challenges of adoption and continues to shape the way we talk about adoption, support our children, and honor every member of an adoption triad.
Our Life and Lifestyle
Our home is joyful, adventurous, and full of laughter. Along with our sweet dog, Acacia, the kids help care for a variety of animals, and it's not unusual to spot monkeys playing in our yard. We love hiking, exploring Kenya and other countries, playing games indoors and outside, and simply enjoying everyday life together. Living on the equator means we enjoy beautiful weather all year long.
Our children attend an international school just a few minutes from our home, where they've built friendships with kids from all over the world. We spend lots of time there swimming, riding bikes and rollerblades, playing on the playgrounds, and enjoying the beautiful outdoor spaces together.

What We Hope for the Future
Your child would grow up surrounded by a loving family, a supportive community, and opportunities to experience different cultures and perspectives. Above all, we hope our home is a place where every child feels safe, deeply loved, celebrated for who they are, and encouraged to become all they are created to be.

We first met in the fall of 2017 when we started attending the same small group at our church. A couple of months later, Michael reached out through Facebook Messenger. We started chatting, which soon led to a few dates. By mid-December, we had an honest conversation about what we wanted for the future. Since we were both in our late 20s, we were intentional about dating and wanted to see if God was leading us toward marriage. It didn't take long for us to know that He had brought us together. Within a few months, we were confident we wanted to spend our lives together, and were married in October 2019. In March 2020, we were blessed with the opportunity to buy our first home. Since then we have been working on making our home our own by painting the rooms, fixing up the backyard, and adding a small garden out front.

Dear friend, Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a potential mother to your child. I know this is an enormous decision and I am very grateful. I hope that by looking through my profile you will get an idea of what your child’s life would be like if I were to be chosen as their adoptive mother. Here’s a little more about me: I am a single professional woman, living in a large city. I have always wanted to be a mother, and I have had many people in my life with positive experiences of adoption. Some words friends and family would use to describe me are: Loyal and trustworthy, creative, a deep thinker, and independent. My job requires me to be a leader and stay very organized. So when I’m not working I keep things as relaxed as possible; slow weekend mornings at home are my favorite! One of the things I’m most grateful for in my life is my education. I attended some great schools and they taught me a love of lifelong learning. I am also a lover of beauty and style. I enjoy fashion and interior design and I love the ways you can use both to express yourself. Aside from adopting, one of my biggest goals is to someday travel to Australia, Japan, and East Africa, all places I’ve never been! I have a strong community and my family and friends are all very excited to welcome a new child. My family consists of my parents, my brother, my sister and her husband and their two sons. They all live in another state but we make it a priority to visit often. I also have many friends who will be great “aunties” and “uncles” to a child I bring home. My neighborhood is very walkable and there are lots of small children who enjoy the nearby parks, play areas, and all the things that come with city living. I love to read, play tennis, go birdwatching, take long walks with my dog, and go on road trips. I’m very interested in interior design, and I’m an animal lover and have always had pets. I speak French and would ensure a child also learns a language other than English so they can see the world and communicate with many different people. I would also make sure they are exposed to the arts, sports, and culture as much as possible. I live in a big city close to lots of great museums, parks, restaurants, cultural activities and public transportation. It is important to me that people take the opportunity to see as much of the world as they can. I have been lucky to travel to many different countries and really value learning about other cultures and ways of life. I can’t wait to share the same perspective and opportunities with a child. It is my hope to provide a child with an enriching, safe, healthy home. And I hope over the next few pages you start to envision the kind of life–full of love, learning, and opportunity–that I hope to give your child. Kindest wishes, Meredith

Hello Friend! Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are extremely grateful that you would consider us as you think about child’s future. We have so much respect and love for you, and truly admire your stength and courage. Becoming parents is something we have always dreamed of, but something we haven’t been able to do on our own. We can’t wait for the day that we get to share our lives with a child. We promise that your child will grow up surrounded by love, encouragement, and support from friends and family. They will always know their story and where they came from. We can’t wait to love and support a child in every way, and see who they become. We are Seth and Sara, and we’ve been happily married for just over nine years. We have three dogs: Peanut, Nala & D-O-G – who keep life fun! We love traveling and somehow we always find ourselves back at Disneyland! We also enjoy going to concerts, sporting events, and finding any excuse to spend quality time with the people we love. We live in a wonderful neighborhood filled with lots of parks, great friends, and kids of all ages. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing people. Most weekends we play pickleball or baseball, host get-togethers, grill outside, or simply relax with family and friends. We have loved building a life centered around family, fun and being together. A little bit about Seth: Seth is the kind of person who can make anyone laugh within minutes of meeting him! He loves ALL sports- watching them, playing them, or just talking about them. He also loves spending time outdoors- hunting, fishing, grilling, or even yardwork. Seth works in the finance world, and works harder than anyone. He makes sure we have everything we need in life. Seth’s fun personality, sense of humor, and easygoing nature make him someone people love spending time with. A little bit about Sara: Sara loves traveling and is ALWAYS ready for a new adventure. She can usually be found trying to plan our next trip. She also loves spending time with family and friends and will never turn down a game night or simple get together. Sara is obessed with dogs and will stop to pet just about every dog she sees. Sara works in Special Education and loves what she does. Sara’s caring personality and fun spirit make her someone others feel comfortable being with. Once again, thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are praying for you, and want you to know that we are in this with you. We are excited to get to know you and learn more about you, and we look forward to hearing your story.
