Meet Michael and Jessie

Dear Expectant Parent(s),

We want to start by thanking you for taking the time to get to know us.

Our family is very close and your child will be accepted with open arms with many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will love them deeply. We would like you to know that you will always be an important part of our family, and your child will know who you are and the love you have for them.

We are far from perfect, but we work hard to live our lives in a way that honors God and the blessings He has given us. We will work everyday to show up for your child and be the best parents we can be for them. We are ready to add a child to our lives and share the wonders of the world with them.

About Us

We first met in the fall of 2017 when we started attending the same small group at our church. A couple of months later, Michael reached out through Facebook Messenger. We started chatting, which soon led to a few dates. By mid-December, we had an honest conversation about what we wanted for the future. Since we were both in our late 20s, we were intentional about dating and wanted to see if God was leading us toward marriage.

It didn't take long for us to know that He had brought us together. Within a few months, we were confident we wanted to spend our lives together, and were married in October 2019. In March 2020, we were blessed with the opportunity to buy our first home. Since then we have been working on making our home our own by painting the rooms, fixing up the backyard, and adding a small garden out front.

Who we are

Jessie is a teacher and has taught middle school in a few K-8 schools. Michael is a forklift driver and is always looking for other ways he can help out around his work.

Some of our favorite things to do together are visiting zoos and aquariums, taking a yearly trip to either Disneyland or Disney World, working as crew for hot air balloon pilots, playing disc golf and kayaking around our local area, playing board games, and taking walks with our dogs. Jessie loves to go on runs with our adult dog, Auri, cross stitch, and read. Michael enjoys watching cooking shows, working out in the gym, and spending time working around our home.

Some of our favorite memories are the ones we have made with our families. We both love to spend time with them and look forward to our get togethers. They are all very excited for us to grow our family through adoption and can't wait to welcome a new baby.

We would like to thank you again for taking the time to get to know us. We are both so excited to be able to experience the world through the eyes of a child and watch them learn and grow. We will love them fiercely and work everyday to give them the best we can. We would love to get to know you as well, as you are such an important part of your baby's story.

We would like you to know that no matter what you decide, you will always have played a key role in your child's life by bringing them into this world and making the decision to love them enough to consider adoption. You are stronger than you could possibly imagine and we will be praying that God guides you to the decision that is right for you and for your future child.
