Our Story

Dear Birth Parent,

Thank you so much for considering me to become a part of your and your child’s life, and for taking the time to get to know me.

The respect I have for you and the incredible decision you have made cannot be put into words. The love you have for your child is obvious, and I want you to know that I will always provide a loving and safe home for your child. They will always be my #1 priority, and I will love them unconditionally . Your child will be raised in a home full of love and laughter. They will know about you, your love for them, and the precious gift you have given. We will always love and think of you.

About me

I live with my new puppy, Luna Bella, who is an 8-month-old Mini Dachshund. She is the cutest and most snuggly little bundle of joy. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood, full of other families with kids. There are several parks within a mile radius, and a children’s library with lots of activities geared toward early childhood development for children under 4. There are two schools within walking distance as well with incredible facilities available to the community, and the neighborhood has lots of activities for kids happening year-round. It is a perfect neighborhood to raise a child!

Another perk is that my brother lives a mile away with his wife and two daughters, whom I am very close to. My nieces (6 and 8) are absolutely thrilled about gaining a new baby cousin they can play with and teach things to. My mother lives just 15 minutes away, whom I see often. My father is deceased, but I have a wonderful relationship with my stepmom and stepsister who also live in the area. Family is very important to me, and I spend a lot of time with them. Everyone is very supportive of my adoption journey and they are excited to meet the future newest family-member-to-be!

If you are not comfortable having very much and/or any involvement, however, I fully respect and support that decision as well.

I wish you all the best in your journey!

Dear friend, Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a potential mother to your child. I know this is an enormous decision and I am very grateful. I hope that by looking through my profile you will get an idea of what your child’s life would be like if I were to be chosen as their adoptive mother. Here’s a little more about me: I am a single professional woman, living in a large city. I have always wanted to be a mother, and I have had many people in my life with positive experiences of adoption. Some words friends and family would use to describe me are: Loyal and trustworthy, creative, a deep thinker, and independent. My job requires me to be a leader and stay very organized. So when I’m not working I keep things as relaxed as possible; slow weekend mornings at home are my favorite! One of the things I’m most grateful for in my life is my education. I attended some great schools and they taught me a love of lifelong learning. I am also a lover of beauty and style. I enjoy fashion and interior design and I love the ways you can use both to express yourself. Aside from adopting, one of my biggest goals is to someday travel to Australia, Japan, and East Africa, all places I’ve never been! I have a strong community and my family and friends are all very excited to welcome a new child. My family consists of my parents, my brother, my sister and her husband and their two sons. They all live in another state but we make it a priority to visit often. I also have many friends who will be great “aunties” and “uncles” to a child I bring home. My neighborhood is very walkable and there are lots of small children who enjoy the nearby parks, play areas, and all the things that come with city living. I love to read, play tennis, go birdwatching, take long walks with my dog, and go on road trips. I’m very interested in interior design, and I’m an animal lover and have always had pets. I speak French and would ensure a child also learns a language other than English so they can see the world and communicate with many different people. I would also make sure they are exposed to the arts, sports, and culture as much as possible. I live in a big city close to lots of great museums, parks, restaurants, cultural activities and public transportation. It is important to me that people take the opportunity to see as much of the world as they can. I have been lucky to travel to many different countries and really value learning about other cultures and ways of life. I can’t wait to share the same perspective and opportunities with a child. It is my hope to provide a child with an enriching, safe, healthy home. And I hope over the next few pages you start to envision the kind of life–full of love, learning, and opportunity–that I hope to give your child. Kindest wishes, Meredith

We first met in the fall of 2017 when we started attending the same small group at our church. A couple of months later, Michael reached out through Facebook Messenger. We started chatting, which soon led to a few dates. By mid-December, we had an honest conversation about what we wanted for the future. Since we were both in our late 20s, we were intentional about dating and wanted to see if God was leading us toward marriage. It didn't take long for us to know that He had brought us together. Within a few months, we were confident we wanted to spend our lives together, and were married in October 2019. In March 2020, we were blessed with the opportunity to buy our first home. Since then we have been working on making our home our own by painting the rooms, fixing up the backyard, and adding a small garden out front.

We are Eric and Anna, and we are so thankful you are taking the time to get to know us. We've been married for 18 years and have three wonderful children — Gabriel, Selah, and Landon. In 2020, our family moved to Kenya, where we've built a life we truly love. Living here has given our children the gift of growing up among people from many different cultures and backgrounds. We have a beautifully diverse community of dear friends that we love and treasure like family.
