Family Highlights
We are Annie and Jonathan, and we met in 2014 when Jonathan moved to the inland Pacific Northwest and became neighbors. Our friendship quickly blossomed into love, and we married in 2016 in the beautiful St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Over the past nine years, our love has only grown stronger, and we are thrilled at the prospect of welcoming another child into our family.
- Annie is a loving birth doula who is passionate about caring for our family, animals, and plants. She enjoys hiking, gardening, and creating meaningful experiences for our children. Annie is excited to welcome a new baby into our loving home.
- Jonathan is an engineer who loves building things, cooking, and spending quality time with family. He takes pride in being a devoted father and husband and looks forward to sharing his love and knowledge with another child.
- Fate (14) is artistic, musical, and kind. She is an excellent big sister who is very excited about the idea of having another sibling.
- Finn (7) loves building things, playing outside, and having fun. He is caring, gentle, and always ready to share a laugh.
Our home is nestled in a quiet, rural area surrounded by nature, yet close to both a small town and larger cities. It’s filled with animals, gardens, and beautiful views, making it a perfect environment for our children to grow and thrive.
Our Lifestyle and Home
We cherish our time together as a family and love engaging in a variety of activities that bring us closer and fill our lives with joy:
- Travel and Exploration: We enjoy exploring new places, whether it's a road trip to a nearby waterfall, our annual family trip to Hawaii, or our upcoming trip to Japan.
- Outdoor Activities: We enjoy a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living. With mountains and lakes nearby and hiking trails in the woods on our property, we spend a lot of time in nature.
- Building Together: We enjoy developing our space, whether it’s gardening together, building creative projects, or working on holiday decorations.
- Food and Games: Our kitchen is a hub of activity, where we cook meals as a family and bake delicious treats. We also love cooking outdoors, which adds to the fun and warmth of our family gatherings. Additionally, we enjoy playing board games, yard games, and organizing scavenger hunts.
- Pets and Animals: Our home is also a lively place shared with our beloved pets: dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. These animals are part of our family and provide joy and learning opportunities for our children.
