Meet Laura

Hi.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I can only imagine the thoughts and emotions that have brought you to this page. Please know that as you consider what comes next, I have so much respect for the love you have for your child and the care you're putting into their future.

A little about me. I’m Laura. I’m creative, curious, independent, and always up for an adventure, but I’m also someone who really loves being home. I live in a rural mountain community surrounded by open spaces and a close-knit group of family and friends who have become a huge part of my life.

I love cooking for people, photography, slow mornings with coffee on the porch, road trips, hiking, and exploring somewhere I’ve never been. Travel has taken me to some incredible places, from climbing Kilimanjaro to exploring New Zealand, but I believe some of the best adventures happen close to home, too.

As a mom, I hope to show a child the world. Sometimes that might mean a place halfway around it. Other times, it might mean a road trip, a trail close to home, or simply trying something we've never done before. I hope to raise a child who is curious, willing to try things, and excited to discover the world around them.

I’m pursuing motherhood as a single woman, but I won’t be parenting alone. I’m surrounded by parents who are excited to become grandparents, dear friends who have become family, and kids who already hold a very big piece of my heart. There is a village here, and they are just as excited as I am to welcome a child into it.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve imagined being a mom. And when I think about motherhood, it’s the little moments I picture most. Saturday morning pancakes. Giggles from across the room. Bundling up for the first snow of the year. Reading one more bedtime story. Quiet conversations at the end of the day. Creating a home where a child knows they are safe, they are celebrated, and they belong.

If you choose me, I promise your child will always know how wildly and deeply loved they are. They will know about you from the very beginning. They will know their adoption story isn't something to hide, but something to honor. They will grow up knowing where they came from and that there are many people who are part of their story and who love them.

More than anything, I promise to spend my life helping your child become exactly who they were created to be.
