Easter Message From A Act of Love Adoptions
This month of April we celebrate Easter. This year perhaps it will be a different Easter experience than many others, and the one that we might need the most because of its meaning. We celebrate resurrection and renewal, we celebrate new hope and life. The weather is starting to warm up, we can start seeing the green and flowers coming back in the trees and hills. We founded A Act of Love with the message of hope and optimism for the future. We tell birth parents and adoptive families that there are possibilities and that the miracle of birth can change lives.
We have seen this over and over and we still do. Now our message goes beyond adoption, we truly believe that despite how uncertain life is right now, our message is the same. We say to birth parents who are dealing with an unexpected pregnancy or families that dream of a baby, no matter how dark everything seems now, there is hope. We can sacrifice some freedoms today and fight back for a better future. In due time you’ll see miracles happen. Our Easter message this year is about hope. It’s about life and a new beginning- even when things can look dark on a Friday, joy can hope will return on Sunday. We have that new life. Please stay safe.
COVID-19 Update
Our agency is following all the guidelines for our health and government officials. We still open 24/7 however we are communicating through phone calls, video calls, text messages, emails, and our webchat. Facebook Live
Our live videos continue every week. Because of social distancing, we are streaming remotely but this also opens the possibilities to interview more people. For example, we did our first remotely Facebook live where Wendy interviewed Shantel. Shantel is one of our adoptive parents. You can check out this amazing interview on our Facebook page.
Orientations
We did our first live video orientation too. A Act of love adoptions holds orientations for new families looking to adopt. We do this every month. If you want to join us, please contact us at adopt@aactofloveadoptions.com and we will send you the schedule and link for our next orientation. In this video call, you can receive information about the process of adoption and ask questions you may have. It’s a great opportunity to put you on the right track.
