Talk with caring people who understand how you are feeling.

If you find yourself pregnant and are wondering how you are going to pay for everything, it can feel overwhelming. Many women hear the costs of medical bills for labor and delivery and know there is no way they can arrange to pay the bills.  For those choosing adoption, you can rest easy that the medical bills will be taken care of for you and you and the baby get the medical care you need.  If you are uninsured, the adoptive parents that you select will take the responsibility of those bills once the baby is born and you have signed  your adoption paperwork.  If your insurance covers a portion of the bills, or if you have deductibles and co-pays, the adoptive parents will take on those payments.  Adoptive parents understand that in most cases, the birth parents are unable to make ends meet and they are ready and willing to take that responsibility and burden from the birth parents.  A birth parent should never be asked to cover their own pregnancy related medical bills when placing their baby for adoption.

At Act of Love Adoptions, as part of our adoptive parents preparation and training they learn at the very beginning what expenses they will need to cover. They are very aware of  their responsibility and prepared to follow through. Adoptive parents have a great many steps to get ready for adoption; including background checks, medical exams, references regarding their character and parenting ability and a home study.  Most adoptive parents have waited for many years to have a family and are committed to your well-being and for you to have a healthy baby.

We are here for you 24 hours a day and 7 days each week to answer your questions or talk with you about adoption!  Adoptive families can also help you with living expenses.  Give us a call anytime and learn more about the help you can receive as a birth parent.  Make sure that your needs are being met.
