Dear Birth Parent,
We greatly admire you. For you to consider adoption can only be a choice you make because of unconditional love. You will always have the place as your child’s first mom and that will never change. You are choosing someone else to raise your child as their child. The weight of this decision cannot be understated or put into words. To be entrusted with such a monumental choice and this precious life would be one of the greatest honors of our lives.
Cassidy is an adoptee and a mother of two boys, because of this we understand that bond of mother and child never goes away. It is forever. Even though she was raised by loving parents who treated her as her own. We feel like she was blessed with not one but two families. And instead have an extra-large unconventional family with both her biological first family and her adopted family. And because of how lucky we are to have so many people who love us and our children, we wish to add to that family the same way she came into her family. We have long considered and felt like there is someone missing. We have felt adoption is the most desired and hope for way to extend our family. We hope through this journey to meet some incredible people. We know as we go through this no matter what the outcome our lives will be changed for the better.
We love to travel and explore all our beautiful state and country has to offer! We have a very large extended family on both sides so our children are quite spoiled with many family reunions, lots of cousin time and many, many family adventures! We love to go boating, hiking, snow tubing, swimming, biking, going to the ocean and enjoy theme parks. We also love to just hang out at home with family movie or game night. We have two boys who are so excited at the prospect of a new sibling! Our 5-year-old asks us every day when the baby is coming! And our 7-year-old is so helpful and sweet asking so many questions! We are so excited to add to our family and in turn add your family to ours. Thank you for reading about our family. We pray for strength and comfort to you and all you are going through.
