No words that I write can convey your emotions at this time. Many feelings must be going through you right now, and I want you to know that I have endless gratitude for you.
I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope you discover my heart for children, how I care deeply for others and after many years of caring for children, I long to be a mother.
Working with children is my passion, as I have been an elementary teacher for 15+ years and have babysat for as long as I can remember. I have taught in three different countries and I am currently teaching elementary students at an international school overseas which educates children from over 50 countries. Students at my school speak many different languages and have lived all over the world. My home is a 10-minute walk from the beach. Nearby, there are parks, playgrounds, a children’s museum, pools, and many activities for young children. My local community is a close-knit group as we do many activities together, such as horseback riding, swimming, decorating Christmas cookies, movie nights and more. Our community includes people with different backgrounds, cultures, and family types.
I promise your child will be surrounded by joy, laughter, and love. I promise your child will always be cared for, encouraged to try new things, and go on many adventures. I promise your child will be cheered for and comforted during the highs and lows of life.
Due to my life of living overseas, I travel to many different countries. Traveling allows me to discover more of the world, try new things and meet people. I hope to show your child different places to explore and share adventures together. My friendly and social dog, named Bisou, lives overseas with me. She loves running with children and playing in the sand on the beach.
I am a spiritual person who believes in God and cares deeply for others. My family means the world to me, and we are very close. My parents have been married for 40 years, and they raised me with strong values. They come to visit me often as we travel together and I go home at least twice a year to visit them. I have a younger brother who is married, and they have a three-year-old and a newborn. My parents love being hands-on grandparents and are excited to see me become a mom and have another grandchild to love. My brother, sister-in-law, nephews and I are very close. They cannot wait to be an aunt and uncle. My nephews will be the best cousins to grow up with! We have a family cabin in Maine that we visit every summer. My family and I love to go paddle boarding, kayaking and tubing on the lake. We also love to eat lobster, have bonfires, go to festivals and eat all the amazing local food. We enjoy traveling and adventuring together.
By reading this, my hope is to give you a glimpse into my life, the people who surround me, my community and support system, and the life I hope to share with your child. Your child will always know about you, and I would very much like to celebrate their journey with you through chats or video calls.
