Dear Birthparents
We already know in our hearts that you absolutely love this baby, and this is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. While we may not truly fathom how you are feeling or know everything you are going through, we do know you are determined to find a family that will be safe and feels right to you. This is the biggest gift you are giving to a wonderful little person. We promise they will grow up knowing about you and how much love goes into adoption, especially for the birthparents.
We choose adoption because it already plays a special role in our lives. CK is adopted, grew up with another adopted sibling, and has a bio sister that is adopted. It is a wonderful way to build a family. Adoption is our first and only choice.
We are so excited to meet you and plan to tell them as much as we can about where they came from. It would be heartwarming to send letters and photos over the years if that is what you want. We are open to building a relationship with you, but only as much as you are comfortable with. It would be so exciting to tell you about their milestones, their adventures, favorite subjects in school, and their big moments. No matter what decision you make, we know you will never forget them, and the love never truly goes away.
About CK:
CK loves music, nature, kayaking, rock climbing, and computers. She is currently finishing up her master’s degree in wildlife biology and forensics. She taught kids ages 7-15 for ten years before going into grad school and changing her career. CK would be described as patient, spontaneous, always laughing, good at listening, and empathetic.
CK used to race cars and was offered a position at NASCAR Technical Institute upon high school graduation. She gave it a lot of thought but turned it down because of her love for science.
About Michaela:
Michaela loves reading, hiking, playing hockey, music, and watching sports. She is currently working as an engineer and has been for almost a decade. She has earned a master’s degree in aerospace engineering. Michaela would be described as passionate, with the flow, selfless, curious, and understanding.
Michaela has helped build parts for the aerospace industry and her fingerprints have made it to space.
