Reema & Gobind

Who we are

We have been together for more than 12 years and are truly best friends. We initially
lived in Northern Virginia which is where our immediate family resides and then lived in
New York City where we got engaged and then later married in our hometown. After 5
amazing years in the big apple, we decided to move to San Diego, California and
simultaneously, travel the world! We’ve been to over 40 countries and cannot wait to
share this passion with our child when the time is right. Traveling has made us realize
that there is so much out there in the world and different ways to grow a family.
Adoption has been important to us as the primary method to expand our family and we

Our Lifestyle

In our free time, we love being outdoors — whether it’s relaxing in our backyard by the
pool and barbeque area or heading to the beach, which is just a quick 10–15 minute
drive. We both love to cook (and eat!) and are always experimenting with new recipes.
Gobind is the chef of the house — his chicken parmesan is famous — while Reema’s
specialties are game-day favorites like nachos and crispy homemade fries with her
signature lemon garlic sauce.
When we’re not in the kitchen or enjoying a meal out, you can usually find us unwinding
with a movie or TV show. Gobind is a huge Friends fan (he can quote almost every
episode!) and can watch The Dark Knight on repeat, while Reema loves a good
romantic comedy or reality TV —(and yes, the younger contestants are beyond
impressive!), Chopped, or even a little Bravo now and then. Miss Congeniality is one of
her all-time favorites for its humor and heart.
We also love exploring new restaurants and, of course, indulging in dessert — Gobind
never says no to ice cream, and Reema will always make room for pizza! Our friends

and families play a big role in our lives, but we also know that love and family can look
different for everyone. We’ve built a strong foundation as a couple — one that’s rooted
in respect, patience, and humor — and that’s what we’ll bring into parenting. We’re
lucky to have people around us who support us, but what matters most is the home and
love we create together for our child.
Both of us work from home in the technology field, which gives us the flexibility to focus
on family. When we welcome our child, we plan to take time off together and make sure
our home and routines are set up to give them the love, attention, and care they
deserve.

Our Promise

We have always dreamt about being parents and having a child to raise in a loving
home! We recognize the enormous sacrifice and resilience it takes for you to make this
decision. We are incredibly grateful for your heart and willingness to be open to bring us
on this journey with you.
We know that this is not an easy decision and want you to know that we will work with
you every step of the way. While we cannot fully understand what you are going
through, we promise to provide your child unconditional love, experiences, and an
amazing family. We hope to be on this journey with you and your child will always know
your love for them and at the same time, we will respect the boundaries you would like
