Dear Birth parents,
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us and for considering us as you make the selfless decision of who will parent your child. We hope that you will see the love we have for each other, for our son, for our families and friends, and our future child.
We want you to know how much respect and love we feel for you. We cannot imagine having to make such a decision and we think about you daily. We hope you have the strength and the courage you need as you journey through this process. We know that you want what is best for your baby. We hope that you see us for who we are and that we are a perfect match for you child.
More than anything, we want you to know that we will love your child unconditionally and devote our lives to providing him or her with all the love, security and joy we can offer. We want your child to always know where he or she came from. You will always be an integral part of his or her life, and we plan to raise our child with the understanding and appreciation for you and the sacrifice you are making for him or her. This child will be loved beyond words by us, by our families, by our friends, and he or she will always know the great love you have for him or her as well.
About Us,
We have known that we would adopt since before our wedding. Adoption has always been something for which we are very excited. We adopted our son, Emmett, and he has brought immense joy to our family and friends. We are once again extremely excited to adopt a child and expand our family.
We just moved to Rome, Italy.
We have a wonderful home that is filled with love and laughter. We are very active and love to be outside.
We love to travel and teach Emmett about the world. Family and routines are very important to us. We can’t wait to include your child in to our everyday life.
Family & Friends,
Candice comes from a big Catholic, Italian family. She is the oldest of 5 children. She has three brothers and a sister. Her family continues to grow every year with new nieces and nephews and In-laws. She is very close with her family.
Jeff comes from a military family. They grew up living all over the world. He is the youngest of 4 children. They all have big personalities and are a bunch of goof balls. They get this from their dad. Sadly Jeff’s dad passed away a few years ago and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Candice and Jeff have a great group of friends who they treat like family. They have grown together and have shared so many special events in their lives. They are enjoying raising their kids together.
Home & Traditions,
We live in an adorable neighborhood about 2 miles outside of the city center. We are walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, parks, shops, and Emmett’s school. Our Portiere is very kind and helpful. He and Emmett have bonded they give each other high five’s whenever we come home or leave.
We love to celebrate holidays & birthdays. We make each one very special. Growing up, we had so many wonderful traditions as a family. We are excited to share those traditions with our children. Now that we live abroad we are excited to learn about new traditions and bring them into our own.
Travel & Adventures,
We love to travel. We were so excited for the opportunity to move to Rome Italy. We are taking advantage of being in Europe and traveling and experiencing different cultures when we can. We hope to continue to travel with our children in the future so they can see the world and experience different cultures.
We have been to Europe, Asia, and throughout North America. Emmett has already been to 6 countries. On all of our trips, we make it a point to experience the local traditions and cuisine.
We were engaged at a B&B in Virginia and married at a B&B in Maryland. So we decided that every anniversary we would stay at a B&B in a different state. We are planning to visit all fifty states.
