Greg & Wendy

Dear Expectant Parent,

As we thoughtfully write this letter, our hearts are filled with such love and admiration. There is so much to be said, but first off, we want to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read and explore our profile. Thank you for your courage. And lastly, thank you for just being you.

We have been blessed to adopt our 3 beautiful children. This opportunity has given us a unique empathy and love for women who find themselves in a similar situation such as yourself. Placing a child for adoption is such a selfless act of love. It has blessed our lives in more ways than we could ever have imagined. We thought we would make things simple. If you do choose us, we would like to make 5 simple promises to you and your sweet baby.

1.We promise to love, cherish and nurture your little one with all our hearts!

2.We promise to teach your little one the beauty of adoption. That their birth mother is an amazing woman who put her needs aside in order to give them the best life possible. That they are special and unique; just like you!
3.We promise to protect and provide for your little one. To be there for them through the thick and thin.
4.We promise to teach your little one the importance of hard work, compassion, honesty and empathy for others. To not take the simple things in life for granted, such as joy, laughter, family and friends.
5.We promise to help your little one understand their story. Where they come from and the great potential they have within them. To instill confidence that they can stand tall and be proud of who they are!

All about Greg, Written by Wendy
Greg is energetic and fun-loving. As big and strong as he his, he has a very sensitive and loving heart. He enjoys being active in several sports such as baseball and basketball. He is a very gifted athlete. He played baseball growing up. This gave him the opportunity to go to college on a full-ride baseball scholarship. When we were first dating, I really enjoyed going to his games. I am so lucky to have Greg as my husband and friend. No matter how difficult life gets at times, he has always been there for me. I admire his determination and hard work. While still in college, Greg started his own construction business. His amazing work ethic has blessed our family in so many wonderful ways. He also uses his construction skills to help friends and family. He is a wonderful example of service and love. Not only is Greg an amazing husband, he is a loving and devoted father. It is always a party when Daddy comes home from work; lots of hugs, kisses, and best of all, wrestling and playtime. They also love when he reads to them and tells them exciting stories at night. That is always a special bonding time for them. He is their super hero. To me, he is my loving companion, friend and my greatest supporter.

All about Wendy, Written by Greg
Wendy is the coolest girl I know. She is passionate about anything nature from hiking, biking, river rafting and camping. She loves animals. As a kid she always wanted to live in a zoo with her favorite animals. Wendy is also an accomplished violinist and yoga enthusiast. Wendy’s siblings play several instruments; the flute, French horn and piano. It’s so fun when we all get together at Christmas time and play Christmas songs while the rest of the family sing along. Our children are so lucky to have her as their mother and I am lucky to have her as my wife. Dancing in the kitchen to Michael Jackson songs with our children is her favorite. She also loves baking and makes a killer chocolate sheet cake. The kids enjoy helping her out in the kitchen. She brings such joy and excitement to our family. I love her free-spirit, loving nature and compassion for others. She is empathetic, sensitive and kind. She works as a child mental health therapist and these attributes are so needed to help those in need. One of the greatest things I admire about Wendy is her perseverance and tenacity. She worked very hard in college to get her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. She has worked as a mental health therapist and social worker. But at this time, she now enjoys being home full time with the children. She inspires me to be a better person and I love her so much for that.

Shiloh
Shiloh is 7 years old. He is so excited to be a big brother once again, especially to a little baby brother. He is bright, creative, sensitive, loving and very imaginative. He is our little inventor. He loves coming up with new ideas of his own creation. This year has been very exciting for him. He started first grade and is loving school. Playing with friends is the highlight of his day. He also enjoys riding his bike and scooter, building forts and going to art class. We love him so much and all that he is!

Aria
Aria is 4 years old and full of spunk and sass. Her energy is so fun and exhausting all at the same time. She is always ready to give hugs and kisses to all those she loves. Her smile and excitement for life is so contagious. She loves reading stories with Mommy and wrestling with Daddy. Like Shiloh, she loves playing with her cute little friends. She is our tiny dancer. She loves rocking out to music and busting silly moves. We truly adore her and can’t imagine life without her.

Baby Zoe
Zoe is almost 10 months. She is the sweetest and happiest baby you will ever know. She brings so much joy and light into our home. Shiloh and Aria love to make her smile and laugh. All in all, we are purely smitten with her and love her with all our hearts. You may be thinking, but wait a minute, Zoe isn’t even a year old and you are pursuing another baby. Our answer is yes! We have always wanted 4 children and Shiloh is dying to have a baby brother. We feel that it is the time for us to complete our family and that this is the right path for us. It will also be fun for Zoe to have a younger sibling close to her age. They will certainly be little buddies. We feel it such a blessing that we have the opportunity to adopt one last time.

About Us
We enjoy doing fun things together such as going to parks, biking, hiking, camping and just staying home snuggling up to a good moving. Each year, we enjoy going camping and white-water rifting in Wyoming with my (Wendy’s) family. We have been going since I was young and we look forward to it every year. We also love taking family vacations. Just this past Christmas, we decided to escape the cold winter weather and go to California. We enjoyed sunny days at the beach, visiting the San Diego Zoo and Legoland. Greg and I have also enjoyed going on cruises. We have been to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and Honduras. We took Shiloh on our Mexican cruise with our close friends and we all had a blast. His favorite part was holding a monkey in Honduras. I (Wendy) had the wonderful opportunity to visit Italy with my sister, aunt and cousins. It was an incredible experience and I would love to return some day.

In Closing
We know it takes a lot of courage to choose adoption. In no way is it an easy thing to do. It truly is a selfless act of love. You already have a special place in our hearts. We hope at this time that you have love and support and that you are not alone in this process. Thank you again for taking the time to read our story. Whatever decision you make, we wish the very best for you and your baby.
