Act of Love has been asked to assist expectant mom, A, who is making an adoption plan for her baby that is due around January 29, 2016. This is agency assist with Act of Love helping to search for an adoptive family.  New Information:  A has had an ultrasound and found out that her new date is March 15, 2016 and a baby girl!  Her substance use would have been in the first part of her pregnancy.
A is of Eastern Indian descent and she believes the birth father to be a Hispanic man. A is searching for an adoptive family for her baby. Her situation is requiring assistance with her living and care.
A reports that she has not had prenatal care, but did have an ultrasound on October 9th 2015. She reports the baby to be healthy. She is planning a follow-up ultrasound around October 28th 2015. There are no medical records at this time for presentation. A does not currently have insurance but is applying for Med-i-Cal. There is no guarantee that A will have medical coverage at the time of birth. The adoption will take place in Southern California and baby will likely be born via c-section. She reports to be healthy, but has had high blood pressure during her over three pregnancies. She also reports use of Meth during the first few months of pregnancy until she found out she was pregnant. A would like to have contact with the adoptive family prior to birth through phone calls and picture and letter updates following placement.
A is planning to review profiles beginning Monday, October 26, 2015.
