Birth parents B & S are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy and have asked Act of Love to help find a home study ready adoptive family for their baby and assist them with an adoption plan.  Their baby girl is due on or around May 22, 2016.   They are seeking a loving, happy, married heterosexual couple that is either African American, bi-racial or a family who has children that are African American or bi-racial.  B & S have expressed that they are interested in an open adoption and may want to meet the adoptive parents prior to giving birth.  They are requesting that pictures and letters be sent through the adoption agency or by private email.   Their situation is requiring assistance from the adoptive family for living and care.

B reports that she currently has Medicaid and has been receiving prenatal care for about the last three months.  She reports she is also taking iron and prenatal vitamins.  She states that she is healthy and has not experienced any major injury, illness, medical problem or developmental problem during her life.  B reports that her past four pregnancies were normal and all delivered vaginally.  The non-identifying social and health information along with available medical records will be accessible to to families when they are approved for the Outreach Program with Act of Love.  Act of Love can not guarantee the Medicaid she currently has will cover all of the medical costs and adoptive family would be responsible for any remaining costs.

B stated that she does not have a history of using tobacco or alcohol and is not currently using tobacco or alcohol.  She does report some marijuana in the first few months of her pregnancy.

B will be reviewing family profiles as soon as they are approved and become available.  To get started quickly and have your profile considered by B, please visit the Outreach page located on the website under the Adoptive Family tab on the Act of Love website.  This page will assist you with steps to becoming approved in the AOL Outreach Program. Questions can either be directed to the email or by calling our office. Please do not hesitate to call AOL with any questions you may have.  Please note that adoptive parents will need to have an approved home study that is current within one year along with current clearances.

Our staff can be contacted Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. MST at 1-888-767-7740 or 801-572-1696.  We are excited to help get you pre-qualified for adoption with Act of Love.  It would be our pleasure to address your adoption needs. All Act of Love situations are presented to full-service adoptive families prior to presenting to Outreach adoptive families.

Act of Love Adoptions is also happy to offer individual services to families and birth parents interested in completing an adoption, as well as agency assist and full adoption services. Please call and RSVP, if possible. The orientation offers a casual setting designed to provide educational information to adoptive families considering adoption along with information to experience a successful adoption before, during and after placement.
