We are Nick and Amber from Indiana. We have been married five years and currently live overseas. We are so excited to welcome a little one into our family.
CHOOSING ADOPTION
We’ve always known we wanted to adopt. Our faith leads us to love one another and care for each other. We feel this is God’s timing to pursue an adoption. It’s our prayer that we can provide a safe, loving, home for a child.
THIS TAKES BRAVERY
Although we don’t know you, we are just grateful for your bravery as you sit right here. We can’t imagine the emotions you’re feeling, but we are praying fervently for you through this difficult time. It takes a lot of love and courage to choose life and let someone else be a part of your child’s future. We want the very best for you and your baby and pray that God can direct you and give you great peace in this decision.
FAITH & FAMILY VALUES
We have a committed faith and have spent much of our adult lives in ministry work in different forms both domestically and internationally. Our faith is central to our marriage and is an important part of how we will raise our children.
This means being a part of a community (church and close friends) who can support our family, raising our children to love others. We have felt such love and support from our faith community and believe this is a wonderful way to build relationships, have positive influences in life and have peace in our journey.
LIVING OVERSEAS
We moved right along the beautiful Mediterranean coast to serve cross-cultural workers from around the world. We live in a modern, safe city with great medical care, a large international community and plenty of amazing opportunities for everything from education to cultural experiences.
Growing our family while living overseas is something we are looking forward to. We believe this can be an amazing place for a child to grow up bi-lingual and with the chance to explore the world. We hope it can help them become well-rounded, healthy, God-honoring individuals.
FAMILY
We are close with both of our families and love spending time with them. We both have two siblings and five nieces total that we adore! We keep closely connected to our families and talk regularly with them when we aren’t close by. Our extended family has been a great gift to us. They are supportive of our choice to adopt and will be a wonderful part of a child’s life!
HOME IN INDIANA
We live with Nick’s mom currently when we are in the States. She has a beautiful home with a nursery and host of fun kids toys for the grandkids! We share some space but have our own family space as well.
HOME IN EURASIA
We live in a coastal city on the Mediterranean Sea through most of the year. We typically will travel back to Indiana once a year for a month at a time. This allows us to enjoy time with family and friends while still continuing our life-giving work abroad.
We believe we can offer a child some unique blessings in a life overseas and hope you’ll see that this is a safe, beautiful place. This culture LOVES children and is very welcoming to them in all areas. We will have much support from co-workers and our church community in this city too.
AS YOU MAKE THIS DECISION
We don’t know you, but we believe God is right here beside you as you look through these pages. We hope and pray that He leads you as you make these hard decisions for the future of your child. We ache with you on this difficult journey and hope you feel great peace as you decide who will become parents to your baby. This child is known and loved by our Father and so many others who are coming alongside you now. We hope you feel that.
