Jenny

Dear Birth Parent:
My name is Jenny. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I know this is an extremely difficult and important decision that you are making for your child. I have so much respect and admiration in your decision for adoption. She will be such a blessing to me and my family. I already love your baby and cannot wait to embrace her and share her with my family and friends!

My goal is to provide love, support, encouragement, and guidance to your child to help her reach her fullest potential in life. Also, for her to be happy and know that she is loved unconditionally. She will be raised knowing that you made this decision with deep and enduring love. As a parent I plan to teach her by example and the way I live my life. I will fill her life with laughter, joy, adventure, faith, love, discipline, and structure.

I have been very blessed to have a healthy, happy life full of success and adventure! I have also enjoyed making memories, over the years, with great friends and a great family. All of my young adult life, however, I have wanted to be a wife and mother; but neither of these dreams have come true for me, yet. I know God’s plan is different than my own but He tells us that He will give us the desires of our hearts (Ps 37:4).

Over the past several months I have felt a strong desire or “tug” to look into adoption. After a lot of research, prayerful consideration, and discussion with my family and friends I decided that it is time to adopt a baby. God has been too good to us by adopting us as His children and I feel led at this time, to participate in the action of adoption as a result of that grace. I am so excited! I cannot wait to be a mother and share my love with a child.

I am a pediatric nurse and have worked with children my whole life in some capacity, whether through my career, babysitting as a young girl, being a big sister (with Big Brothers Big Sisters), or being a nanny. I have 1 brother and many, many cousins. I am also surrounded by wonderful friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

I am a Christian and attend church regularly. I also am involved with Bible study groups and outreach projects with my church. I have been on 3 mission trips to South America. I also work with Habitat for Humanity and volunteer at a local medical clinic for the needy.
I graduated college and have a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a Master’s in Health education. I am passionate about people being healthy and will ensure a healthy lifestyle for my child. I am in excellent health and enjoy exercising and staying active.

My favorite pastime is traveling. I enjoy learning about different cultures and ethnicities and seeing what each place has to offer. I cannot wait to explore new places with my child and show her some of the places I’ve already seen! I also enjoy adventure, movies/theater, playing golf, swimming, boat rides, jet skiing, exercising, hiking, watching college football & other sporting events. I like to have fun, joke around, and enjoy life!

Thank you for considering me. I hope I have provided insight into what I have to offer your child. I pray for peace, guidance, and strength as you search for the right parent(s). May God bless you and your courageous decision.

Jenny
