Dear Birth Parent,
Our names are James and Mandee. We are extremely grateful for your interest in getting to know a little about us while considering your options for your child.
We would like to start by acknowledging the selfless sacrifice you are making, as well as the abundance of emotions that we can only imagine you are experiencing. It is our hope to be able to provide for your child a home full of unconditional love and laughter.
A Little About Us…
We met in June 2019 and by June 2020 we were married. Mandee is a little bit country and James is a little bit rock n’roll, but from the start it has always felt like we were meant for each other.
James served in the US Navy, but has since worked in the Real Estate industry for over thirty years. Which makes him a great tour guide. He can tell some amazing stories about local history and landmarks.
Mandee served in the US Army and has since been pursuing a Master’s Degree in Health and Wellness Coaching. Her first priority is to be a stay at home mother’ but would like to work with non-profit veterans organizations.
We both come from large families, so there is never a shortage of excitement. Sadly James’ parents are deceased. Mandee’s parents live close by and are always ready with treats for the grandkids. There are also an abundance of friends who are ready to be extra aunts and uncles.
We share a love and passion for just about any outdoor activity. We both will jump at the opportunity for an adventure and the chance to learn something new. Due to the pandemic our travels have been limited, but our passports are ready.
We also share a curiosity and ability to see the world through a child’s eyes. It is our hope that we can share with your child our passion for the outdoors and adventures, as well as for other cultures and history.
We both have adoptions within our families, so we are aware of the blessings that come from such a sacrifice. It is our intention to be open with our child about their adoption. It will also be a priority to help our child understand their cultural background, whatever that might be.

We can not possibly understand the challenges that have brought you to this point in your life. We know that the decision you make is something you will carry with you for the rest of your life. However, we want to express our love and the knowledge that you will always be in our hearts.
This is a time of difficult choices and if we can help you feel more comfortable with your decision we are open to answering any questions you may have.
We stand in awe of the strength and courage your are displaying. Traits we are sure your child will inherit.
