Greg & Tim

Dear Birth Parent(s),

We are honored and touched that you are considering us for the adoption of your child. We admire and respect you for wanting what is best for you and your baby. We will always express to your baby that their mommy loved them so much, that she found not only one, but two daddies, to be his or her parents. Because of your act of selflessness and love, you would be fulfilling our greatest want and desire in life, which is to grow our little family. Your baby will be taught to love and be loved.

We met in 2007 and instantly became friends. Our love for each other became apparent quick; over the years we became each other’s best friend and greatest support. We have been happily married for almost six years. We spend many weekends camping, biking and hiking. Sometimes with friends and family and many times just the three of us. In the summer we go to the lake to water ski, or just play on the beach. We enjoy the outdoors, planting a garden, and playing with our 3 dogs, (Truss a Shih Tzu Pug Mix, Louie a Papillion, and Gertie a Scottish Terrier). They love kids and never miss an opportunity to give kisses and to play. We adopted Alistair in late 2017, and he has become the center of our lives. He is so sweet, loving, and playful. The last couple years have been the most fulfilling and we cannot imagine life without our little guy. He brings such joy to our lives each day. He loves playing with other kids and will make a great brother!

Tim is the oldest of two children. His parents love spending time together, traveling, camping, and skiing. Alistair was their first grandchild and they now have 2 grandchildren. They are excited to become grandparents again. Tim received his bachelor’s degree in Business Operations and works as the Corporate Marketing Director for a growing local business, which is very family friendly. He loves his job and is proud of his home and family. He enjoys going to concerts, any activity with water, being in the outdoors, gardening, camping, hiking, biking, and playing in the yard with our dogs. The holidays are one of his favorite times of the year, especially time spent with family. He has always anticipated seeing his own children experience the holidays and being able to play with their nieces and nephews.

Greg is the fourth of six children, four boys and two girls. He works for a nearby high school in the maintenance department. His parents are both retired educators, his father was an elementary school principal and his mother was a resource teacher, both love being around children and love bringing their family together for events both big and small they make it to almost all games and recitals for their grandchildren. After high school Greg moved to Florida and worked as an Entertainer for Walt Disney World, then also lived in California while working for Disney. He loves kids and enjoys entertaining his nieces and nephews. Greg enjoys all summer activities, live music, camping, biking, hiking, being at the lake, and going on outdoor adventures with the dogs.
Both of our families live within a short five to ten minute drive. Your child will be surrounded by loving Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews who always gather. Whether it is seeing the holiday lights on houses or going out on the boat at the lake; your child will be surrounded by love, fun, laughter and excitement. We are a close family that enjoys each other’s company. The nieces and nephews always love playing with Greg, he is referred to as their “favorite uncle”, and the highlight of their night. Alistair is such a fun-loving kid and loves to play and share with his cousins. He will have so much fun with his sibling and can’t wait to have a playmate.

We bought our first home in 2010; we recently bought and moved into our forever home last year, the home we plan on growing our family in. We live in a revitalized, diverse neighborhood with young families. Close to mountain trails, fun parks, great schools, and our Family and Friends. Our home has 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large playroom. It is a 1960’s Rambler style house on a big lot which we share with our three dogs. It is a great environment for a child to gain a love and respect for animals. We love spending time in the outdoors jumping on the trampoline, playing with the dogs and going on hikes in the mountains.

We are spiritual people; we believe that one should have love for ones self, respect for their body, be willing to contribute, and show gratitude and empathy towards others. We strive to be mindful of nature and of our surroundings. Our belief is that we are here to learn and grow and express ourselves through life’s experience.

We look forward to growing our little family and enriching our lives with a sibling through adoption. Our lives are dedicated to each other and to the growth of our family. We promise this to you; your child will be loved unconditionally, given positive encouragement, while being taught to respect others and themselves. Our home offers a supportive environment that will encourage opportunity and possibilities. Your child will be a part of a wonderful family; with fun relatives and friends, a great education full of learning experiences, a set of beliefs that will enrich their life, with adventures, fun and laughter!

Should you choose our loving home and open hearts, we will be forever grateful. We are willing to discuss the benefits and possibilities of open adoption and what is best for you and your baby. We know you have a hard decision and sincerely admire and respect you for this.

Thank you for taking the time to consider us.

Tim, Greg & Alistair
