We recognize that you are a part of your child that we can never even hope to be – the birth parent. What a blessing you are to have chosen life! We will make sure that your child knows that it was because of your love that you chose this path for them. We feel great admiration and gratitude for you and look forward to having you as a part of our lives.
About Us
We are Daniel and Kacy, and our daughter’s name is Veda. We met at church and quickly became very close friends. As we prayed about starting a dating relationship, we knew that the Lord had brought us together to complement one another. Where Daniel is a fun-loving extrovert, Kacy is a quiet, thoughtful introvert. Daniel loves anything that gets your blood pumping, while Kacy enjoys doing projects around the house that makes it feel like “home.” We have a wide variety of interests, but also share a lot of favorite hobbies, such as: going on walks or runs as a family, watching movies on Friday nights together, going hiking, traveling (mostly to other countries), exploring new places, and cooking. But our favorite thing of all is spending time as a family. We are both very family-centered and cherish the time we spend together.
Veda is our sweet daughter who is ecstatic to become a big sister! She loves reading books about big sisters and adoption. She has such a kind heart and we are confident that she will be an attentive and loving sister to your child. Some of her favorite things are playing with other kids, reading books with Momma and Daddy, running around outside, learning something new, and coloring.
We live in the tropics, with the back of our 4 bedroom home overlooking the beach. There is a playground right outside of our home that creates a lot of opportunity to spend time with our neighbors and their young children. Daniel is a pilot and an airplane mechanic, who also happens to be a nurse, while Kacy is a “retired” accountant who is focused on creating a comfortable home for our family and raising our children. Kacy will be homeschooling our children and looks forward to being a constant influence in their lives.
We are dedicated to raising children who know they are loved and through that love teach them what it is to respect all people. Education is highly valued by us, but we are more concerned with the type of person each of our children will become.
Why Adoption
Before fertility ever came into question, Daniel and I dreamed of adopting. Because of our faith, we strongly felt that adoption would touch our lives one day. We struggled to become pregnant for a couple of years before we were happily surprised to find out that we were expecting our daughter, Veda. We want our children close in age and after briefly struggling again to get pregnant, asked ourselves why we weren’t pursuing our dream of adoption. The thought of being a part of the equation for you, the birth parent, to courageously choose life is a great honor to us. We look forward to walking alongside your child, always, loving him or her and hope to have you as a part of that picture. You will always have a special place in our hearts.
