Dear Birthparent,
We want you to know how much we admire your strength and your courage. My (Jeni) sister placed her baby for adoption when she was young. She was living with me at the time, I was there for the birth and for the placement of that sweet little baby that brought joy to us and to his adoptive family. My feelings about adoption are hard to put into words. Seeing my sister go through all of it was the most beautiful and selfless thing I have ever seen. She was strong and brave and incredible. This is how we see you, we know your situation may be completely different from hers. But we will always be grateful to you and for you. We hope to have an open adoption if that is what you want as well. Your baby will be welcomed into our family with excitement and love. We will protect this sweet little one and love him or her with all of our hearts.
About us:
Our names are Chris and Jeni. We have three wonderful daughters Gabi, Aliza, and Lily. They are wonderful girls. Gabi is 12 and has a huge imagination, she loves writing and reading. But she is also a daredevil that will try anything and is not afraid to get dirty. She loves to take care of her little sisters and loves babysitting other little kids as well. Aliza is 10 and is outgoing and kind. She is sensitive to others feelings and is always leaving us little notes. She loves all things girly. She is great at fixing hair and making jewelry. Lily is spunky and independent and has the best laugh ever. She loves to play with friends and loves being with her sisters even more. She is always helping me take care of our two dogs and our cat.
Chris is a partner at a law firm. He grew up in a small town with 4 brothers and 1 sister. Both of his parents were teachers. We live close to most of his family and see them often. Our kids love their
cousins but even more than that getting to see Grandma and Grandpa. Chris is an avid reader, he loves history and learning everything he can. He likes fishing and being with his family.
Jeni is a stay at home mom. I love running, anything outdoors, reading, and painting. I lived on a dairy farm until I was 13 and then we moved to a horse ranch. Growing up farming was a great way to grow up. I have two brothers and 3 sisters. We have lots of cousins and my kids love being with them.
We are grateful to have our family and to get to spend time together. We love each other and we love being together. No family is perfect and we are not either, but we are lucky and we try our best to help each other and be there for each other. Right now, we are just so excited to have another sweet little person join our family. We hope all the best for you, we will be praying for you and look forward to meeting you.
