We are so grateful to you for taking the time to look at our profile and consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. We understand that you have an incredibly hard decision ahead of you. We admire your strength! Your child will grow up knowing all about the loving decision you made, and we would love to keep in touch with photos and updates. More than anything, we want to build a loving and happy home for our family, and we hope this profile gives a glimpse at what that will look like for your child if you choose us as adoptive parents.
A Little About Us
We met in college, when we were 18 (Britt) and 19 (Matt) years old, and we’ve been together ever since. In many ways, we grew up together. We have a lot in common – a silly sense of humor and a love of home, cooking, and community, plus the outdoors and spending time with friends and family – but we also have our own interests. We try to bring out the best in each other and always encourage each other and our loved ones to pursue our goals and dreams, and will do the same for your child.
We’ve been married for over eleven years and have been trying to build our family for over five years. After many years of infertility treatments and reflection, we are jumping wholeheartedly into the adoption journey. We are so excited!
Our Friends and Family
We are both really close to our families. Matt has a brother and a sister, and both are married with kids. We love our nieces and nephew so much, and getting to watch them grow up has been such a joy. They are all going to be great cousins and playmates!
Britt has one sister, who just got married. Our child will be the first grandchild – Britt’s parents are so excited to become grandparents!
We are so lucky to have a wonderful circle of friends from school, sports, and other activities. We love to entertain – we host big barbecues and other kinds of get-togethers, including an annual pig roast! Many of our friends have young kids, and your child will fit right in.

- Matt works at a tech start-up building robots
- His favorite hobbies include cooking, playing tennis, rock climbing, anything that takes him outdoors, petting dogs, playing puzzle games, and a good podcast or two

Our Adventures
We love travel and new adventures. In the last few years, we’ve traveled all over the U.S. as well as to Europe and Morocco. We also love hiking, biking, and skiing – why be inside when you could be outside?
We hope to bring your child on many wonderful trips so we can all see new things and experience new cultures together!
Our Home
While we love to travel and see friends and family, we are homebodies at heart. We have a cozy home that was built in the 1930s (we did a big renovation!), where we live with our crazy cat. Britt planted a vegetable garden in the backyard that somehow gets bigger every year! We love to cook and feed our friends and family. On a typical weekend, we make a big breakfast (waffles are our favorite!), walk to the farmer’s market or go for a hike, and invite friends over for barbecue and board games.

If you choose us as adoptive parents, your child will grow up in a house full of laughter and love, with friends and extended family who will welcome him or her with open arms. We want to help nurture your child’s personality and dreams, help him or her learn about the world, and encourage your child to become the person they want to be.
