Thank you for taking the time to meet us, even if only the 2-D version. We're honored that you’re taking the time to consider us. Making an adoption plan for your child is an incredibly brave decision that takes untold strength, courage and love. You have our respect and support. Within this profile, you’ll find the vibrant life we want to share with your little one, a life with loving family, exhilarating adventures, and cozy nights at home. We know this is no easy decision, and wish you well in all aspects of this challenging time.
Our Story: Meagan is the third of four children, and was raised in Northern Utah. Jason, meanwhile, is the oldest of three and grew up in rural Pennsylvania. We met in mandatory classes while working at Walt Disney World in Florida in the 2010’s. In the early morning of Valentine’s day, Meagan took every opportunity she could to make the only other fully awake person in the room smile. That person was Jason. Soon after, we ended up in another class together, and started dating the following week. Our courtship featured many days wandering the parks of Disney, and evenings spent watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Eventually, Jason asked Meagan to marry him in front of Cinderella Castle (spoiler alert: she said yes).
The next year, we left the Orlando area and Disney behind so Jason could pursue a career in aviation. We spent a year living on the beach before moving back to Meagan’s hometown, where he accepted a job with a regional airline. A few hard years and many rounds of IVF later, we realized that our family would look different than we originally imagined. But we firmly believe every situation has something it can teach us. And infertility taught us to open our hearts to the unexpected.
Our Life: We love adventure. Whenever our schedules allow, we like to explore the world. Using the travel benefits from Jason’s job, we’ve explored San Diego, Denver, and even Hawaii. Our favorite vacation spot to fly to, however, is Walt Disney World. When we can get more time away, visiting farther flung family in Hawaii, Australia, and the East Coast is a wonderful escape from the every day. Often in the summer, we like to head to the National Parks while taking home with us, in the form of our travel trailer.
In the everyday, Meagan works from home, much to the chagrin of our four pets (2 Standard Poodles and 2 Cats) who would prefer she only feed and cuddle them and Jason is an Airline Captain. Weekly dinners with Meagan’s parents and cozy evenings of Diet Coke and Fantasy Novels make a great balance to our adventures.
Growing our family has long been our dream, and we would be overjoyed to bring your child into our home and hearts. We promise to give them a life filled with kisses (both dog and human) and laughter, with every opportunity, and to show them a world of endless wonder. Your little one will be unconditionally loved and supported at every turn. To paraphrase a favorite band of ours, we can’t promise that there won’t be pain, we can’t promise to remain the same, but when they’re scared, we’ll be there, always.
