What a year! As we prepared for Christmas and this holiday season, we reflected on all of the opportunities we have had this year to see lives that were blessed by the gift of adoption.
For most people, December is a month to buy gifts and presents for loved ones. It is a token of gratitude and the feeling of giving back to others. The greatest gift we have is life and that is what we are celebrating as an adoption agency this season. We invite you to remember the gift of life and how adoption has blessed the lives of thousands of children, birth parents, and adoptive families. A Year In Review
This year was a very busy year and a lot of fun for A Act of Love. We saw amazing success with wonderful birth moms and adoptive families being matched. We also celebrated our 26th anniversary as an agency which was a big milestone. It was a year where we tried to give back to the community through service.
We participated in several service projects and we have the opportunity to meet wonderful people. We created a quick recap video as a summary of 2019. We can’t put everything we did in 2 minutes but it gives you a glimpse of what 2019 was like. You can check out the video on our Facebook page.
Live Videos
As part of our goal to share more information about adoption, we continued our Facebook live videos. Some of our amazing people at A Act of Love took the time to answer questions about adoption. This month we covered:
- How adoptive families are presented to birth parents
- The process of birth parents choosing an adoptive family
- We went live to invite people to participate in our service project.

YouTube Channel
Questions about adoption are constantly increasing on the internet, and as you know, we have a lot of content answering those questions. We are in the process to organizing our videos and information to build our YouTube channel. You’ll be able to find information by topic and share with people who may benefit. We invite you to stay tuned and subscribe when we announce it.
What is coming for 2020
If you thought 2019 was busy, just wait for 2020. We are planning to share more valuable content about adoption and answer all the questions you have. Also, we are going to keep sharing stories from brave birth moms and wonderful adoptive families to give you their perspective on adoption. And we are going to keep going out and participating in several service projects. Please make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get updated on everything that is going to be happening.
