What an honor for Act of Love Adoptions to have the CEO and founder of Act of Love, Kathleen Kunkel, named as a Congressional Angel in Adoption. Ms. Kunkel was honored by Mr. Jim Matheson and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute in Washington, D.C.

Kathy Kunkel founded Act of Love Adoptions in 1993. Kathy’s vision was to create an adoption agency where both birth parents and adoptive families could receive full adoption services in a loving environment. Over the years Kathy has helped place over 1,000 children in loving homes. She has given birth parents the love and support to make the incredible decision of placing their children with adoptive families and given adoptive families the hope and encouragement to wait until that precious baby is placed in their arms.

Kathy still continues each day to be an Angel in Adoption. The dedication and love she shows for adoption shines each day. The gratitude and love that Kathy has for every birth parent, adoptive family, employee and professional association is key to a successful adoption agency that continues to grow each year.
