Dear Expectant Parent,
We are Reema and Gobind. We thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We want you to know we are here for you and the respect we have for you is immeasurable. We are so excited to be adopting and bringing a child into our family! We hope our story will help you make your choice. Please know that no matter what direction you go in, we wish you and your child all the best. We will do everything we can to help your child be the best person they can be.

Who we are
We have been together for more than 12 years and are truly best friends. We initially lived in Northern Virginia which is where our immediate family resides and then lived in New York City where we got engaged and then later married in our hometown. After 5 amazing years in the big apple, we decided to move to San Diego, California and simultaneously, travel the world! We’ve been to over 40 countries and cannot wait to share this passion with our child when the time is right. Traveling has made us realize that there is so much out there in the world and different ways to grow a family. Adoption has been important to us as the primary method to expand our family and we are absolutely honored to be on this journey with you.
Our Lifestyle
In our free time, we love to be outdoors, whether it is in our backyard which has a pool and barbeque area or going to the beaches which are 10 to 15 minutes away. We’re passionate about trying out new recipes or going out to different restaurants – Gobind loves ice cream and Reema can’t get enough pizza! We are very fortunate to have our families along with us on this journey – we celebrate holidays and important milestones together and make sure to visit each other as much as possible. Our parents will give us a hand raising the child we adopt and they are all just as excited as we are. Together we hope to pass on important values of family, community, and respect to our children.
We both love to experience new things together and encourage each other to take on personal challenges at home or in the workplace. We both work from home in the technology industry, and are professionally driven to keep learning but have been able to maintain very flexible schedules. We will definitely take time off together when we welcome our child into our family and be sure to have the right set up that is most optimal for our child.

We know that this is not an easy decision and want you to know that we will work with you every step of the way. While we cannot fully understand what you are going through, we promise to provide your child unconditional love, experiences, and an amazing family. We hope to be on this journey with you and your child will always know your love for them and at the same time, we will respect the boundaries you would like to set. Matt is a stay-at-home dad and full-time university student who loves spending time with our daughter and being part of her daily life. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and camping and loves creating fun adventures for our family. He is patient, kind, and a steady source of support for all of us. Our daughter is a joyful and energetic 4-year-old who brings a lot of laughter and curiosity into our home. She loves singing, dancing, imaginative play, and spending time outdoors. She is affectionate and loves helping with younger children, and she is very excited about the idea of becoming a big sister. Our Life & Community We currently live abroad in Italy and enjoy traveling and exploring new places across the world. We live in a safe and peaceful Italian neighborhood with a huge yard and wonderful neighbors. Our child will attend international schools (where Tessa teaches) with students from many racial, ethnic, and language background s. We also have a large, supportive extended family in the Pacific Northwest and travel home every summer for extended visits, helping our children stay closely connected to family. We have found that the most growth in life tends to come from experiences we never imagined or saw coming. These events have shaped us & have become a part of who we are. I (Kate) met Ed 16 years ago online. I messaged Ed when I realized his profile had more heart & humor than the rest. Within our first conversation, we both knew we found a match in mental energy, playful banter, loyalty, & affection. We both work from home & make coffee together in the morning. We have a home-cooked meal at night & talk about anything & everything. On the weekends, we like going to concerts, shows, & our local drive-in movie theater. We also enjoy relaxing with movie nights, playing board games, trying new restaurants, & picking fruit at our local orchard. We love to travel! We learn as much as we can, try new foods, & often go hiking & kayaking. We enjoy museums, along with exploring the hidden gems of every destination. We live in a home in the country. We moved in not long after we got married ten years ago. We enjoy eating dinner with our family, including nieces & nephew, once a week. We look forward to finding out what new family traditions a little one might inspire. We will enjoy finding out what activities light them up. If you choose us, we will always be truthful to your child & everyone we know about their journey & your love that has made it possible. He has always been a caring, hard-working guy who wants to lead a good life & will carry this attitude & his desire to build a solid foundation into starting a family. He makes the best of what life brings. His own experiences & lessons from those around him have taught him much, & he will bring all of his wisdom & empathy into fatherhood. Kate loves authentic conversations, story-telling, listening, cooking, taking walks in the woods, rollerblading, creative problem-solving, singing, & playing the occasional instrument. She has always enjoyed sharing music & creative activities with the children in her life & appreciates helping them to express & find their own creativity. She is beyond excited to become a parent.

We want you to know that we will love your baby beyond measure. Your choice of adoption is one of immense strength and generosity. Adoption is a familiar word in our family. Sarah was adopted by her parents and she understands both the challenges and triumphs of that experience from the child’s perspective. We would be excited and honored to give that same unconditional love to your baby. Our battle with secondary, unexplained infertility has been a message from God that adoption is our path to grow our family. Infertility has been hard, but getting to follow in Sarah’s parents’ footsteps is powerful. To share a little about us – Kennedy loves her friends and family. Her favorite things to do are being with her animals, riding horses, snowboarding, and playing music with her dad, Cameron. Cameron is an athlete and a musician. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to these things. Hearing the first note of any song, he can tell you who sings it, and what year it was released. Oh yeah-and he loves Jeopardy! Sarah has a great love for horses and has been riding since she was a young child. Snowboarding, water sports, and hiking were a staple of her childhood as well. We are a very active family that loves the outdoors. Traveling with our families happen several times a year. We are so blessed to have a life rich with family traditions and opportunities to explore the world together. Week nights are usually spent playing guitar, piano, singing and dancing together. Board games such as SKYJO, Guess Who, and Candy Land are some of Kennedy’s favorites. Catan, RummiKub, Heads Up and cribbage get broken out once Kennedy goes to sleep. That’s also when the newest Stand-up specials get turned on. We try our best to live a healthy lifestyle by cooking, baking, and gardening. We prepare and can healthy home-grown foods for the season and tend to our chickens (a favorite for Kennedy)! We are Christians. We encourage curiosity, and finding a moral compass that provides a happy and stable life for our family. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us.
