To the strongest person that we’ll ever know –
First, we want to thank you for taking the time to read a little about us and for considering us in such a monumental decision. We understand that this is not an easy journey, and we want you to know that we see your strength, courage, and love that it takes to travel this path. While writing this I feel like we are on a blind date, and I am hoping that somehow the words I write will make you want to get to know us and to eventually love us.
Preston and I have been together for 15 years and married for 9 of those years. During this time together we have proudly conquered many challenges, and each one has only made us stronger as a couple and more certain in our love and commitment to each other and our family.
We are beyond excited to share our love with another child. Together we have an elementary age son, who is ready and eager to step into the role of “big brother”. Our home is filled with creativity, laughter, and little traditions. We cherish our nightly family dinners, hosting pool parties with our friends and family, and involving ourselves with our local community. We can’t wait to include our newest family member in all of it – the adventures, celebrations, and the everyday moments that mean the most.
Words cannot begin to express what a beautiful gift you would be granting us. We promise to love and protect them with everything that we have, to nurture their dreams, and to raise them in a home where they will always know that they are valued, safe, and cherished. Your courageous choice of love will forever be a part of their story, and we will always honor that.
