Karen and Troy had their first baby very young. Their goal was to finish high school in Ohio, get married, and then Troy would go to college. He wanted to become a computer programmer so he could support his family. Karen and Troy were struggling to make ends meet and found themselves living between family member’s homes.
About this time, Karen found out that she was pregnant again. This was very shocking to Karen, Troy and their families. Karen and Troy knew they could not support another child right now, and their families were not in a position to help them anymore.
Karen and Troy had some big decisions to make. They chose to start looking into adoption. They called several agencies, but Act of Love Adoption Agency in Utah was different than the other agencies. The woman who answered their call took time to talk to them and hear about their situation. She was kind and non-judgmental. Karen and Troy were still not positive about adoption, but decided to receive the paperwork and profiles from Act of Love Adoptions.
As Karen and Troy started to look through the profiles, there was one adoptive family that stood out to both of them. They both knew at that moment that this family should raise their little boy. They instantly had peace that placing their baby was the right decision.
Karen went into labor and had the support of Troy, the agency and the adoptive family. They worked with a great attorney to do all the legal paperwork. Karen and Troy were able to place their sweet baby boy with the adoptive family who made them feel so comfortable and at peace. Karen and Troy have continued to stay in contact with the adoptive family through the years. They are still so happy with the adoptive family they chose to place their sweet baby with.
