Dear Expectant Parent,
We have never been in your shoes, but we imagine this is a difficult time for you. We greatly admire the love, strength, and courage you have to consider adoption for your child and yourself. We know you want a warm, supportive, and loving home for your child. To provide these things to a child is something we have dreamed about as a couple since we first met. Becoming parents has been our greatest dream and biggest challenge. We know in our hearts that there is a child out there for us to love and cherish. We are so excited about the possibility of watching a child grow into an intelligent, loving, and confident human being. We look forward to sharing the beautiful moments of the child’s life with you through an open adoption.
About Kimberly by Jesse
Kimberly is a university professor, so she is a teacher by nature and in practice. She is passionate about biology and is often outside watching birds through her binoculars, hiking in the forest to look for critters, and taking evening walks with our dog Hank. I know she would savor moments outside with a child and teach them all about nature. I am confident that a child will learn what it means to be passionate by watching her, and they will be able to translate this into a passion to fulfill their own hopes and dreams.
I was first attracted to Kimberly because of her infectious laugh, and I still admire and cherish how she can make a seemingly boring task more exciting. She will be such a fun and loving parent! At home, Kimberly enjoys being creative in the kitchen and trying new recipes. At the holidays, her cookies and pies make our home smell wonderful! Kimberly is incredibly loyal and deeply devoted to family. She grew up in Michigan with two amazing parents, a loving older sister, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family is the most important thing to her, and she makes a point to spend vacations and holidays with relatives. She also savors time spent with friends.
Kimberly’s biggest dream is to be a parent. I have seen the joy in her eyes when she holds a friend’s baby or reads bedtime stories to our nieces and nephew. Kimberly will be a great teacher for a child and will help steer them on an amazing path through life. I am so excited to start this adventure with her and to watch her dream of parenthood become a reality.
About Jesse by Kimberly
Jesse works as a Mechanical Engineer, so he is creative and likes to learn and build new things.
In the ten years I have known Jesse, I have come to admire many of his qualities. He is generous, patient, kind to others, and quick to laugh, especially at my silly jokes. Jesse has a strong commitment to family and is one of the most dependable people I know. I can always count on him to provide good advice or a much needed hug.
Jesse loves being active and outdoors, whether hiking on the weekend or fishing along a river. He is also very nurturing and loves to watch things grow. He tends to his vegetables in our backyard garden and he is a wonderful, creative cook who is always surprising friends and family with a new recipe.
Jesse grew up with devoted parents and a fun older brother. He has always envisioned having children and giving a daughter or son the same wonderful childhood experiences he had. He will be an amazing dad!
