Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our family’s profile. We deeply admire the love and care you have for your unborn child, and we recognize the strength it takes to make such an important decision. While we cannot fully imagine the challenges you may face in this process, we want you to know that we offer our wholehearted support and encouragement.
We are a family of three: Todd is the day, PJ is the mom, and our daughter is named Parastu. Todd and I met in 2007, working together as photographers. We started as friends, and after a year or so, we began dating. Over the next decade, our relationship ebbed and flowed, but through it all, we remained close friends. Eventually, our friendship blossomed into a committed, loving partnership. Todd often says he was first drawn to me because of my kindness and fun-loving spirit. I was drawn to his empathy and the sense of safety I felt with him. We were married in 2018 and have built a strong, happy marriage since then.
As a family, we enjoy spending time together at the beach, traveling, and simply enjoying each other’s company. We are both deeply committed to growing our family through adoption. Having had loving families ourselves, we are passionate about providing an even better life for our children. We both have stable careers and a solid educational foundation, and we are confident that our home, our marriage, and our strong support network will provide a nurturing environment for a growing family.
Our daughter, Parastu Elise, was born in the spring of 2019. She is a bright, sensitive, and caring little girl, and she brings so much joy into our lives. We cherish our family time, whether we’re exploring the zoo, the aquarium, parks, or local stores. We love spending time with friends and family, grilling outside, having ice cream, or taking an annual beach trip. We find joy in discovering family-friendly activities in our area, and we’re always looking for new ways to make memories together. And Parastu is so ready to be a big sister! We've discussed the adoption process with her and she can't wait until she can snuggle with her new baby brother or sister.

- Honoring Your Child's Heritage: We will always honor your child's background and heritage and incorporate it into our family life. As your child grows, we will support them through the ups and downs of life and reassure them that we will always be there.
- Meeting Your Child’s Needs: We understand that, while an adopted child may appear healthy at the time of placement, special needs can sometimes emerge later. We commit to accessing any resources necessary to support your child’s development and ensure they reach their full potential.
- Adapting to a Growing Family: We have already made accommodations for a young child, and with a few modifications, we are excited to welcome another little one into our home. We’re prepared to follow a baby’s feeding and napping schedule, and we know the love and attention required for their development.
- Open Communication: We would love to meet you before placement and are happy to provide photos and letters about your child’s progress after placement, if that is something you would like.
- Our Support System: We have a strong local support network that includes my sister, who lives just a block away, and my mother, who is also nearby. Todd’s parents live only 20 minutes away, and the rest of his family live only about an hour and a half away. We have close friends from work and are also building new friendships with other parents through Parastu’s preschool and ballet class.
