Dear Birthparent,
We cannot express how much we admire you and your strength to go through this process. We know how genuine and selfless your actions are. If you choose us, please know that your child will have all the love, protection, and happiness we can offer. Our love will not replace the love that you have but will be in addition to it. We are so excited to be adopting and bringing another child into our family. We hope our story will help you to get to know us and hopefully some day we can get to know you.
A Little About Us
We met while in our sophomore year at college. Through classes and study groups, we quickly began spending all our time together and have been inseparable ever since. We got married in June 2014 and in December 2019, with the help of fertility treatments, we were blessed with the birth of our baby boy, Ty. Mark is now completing his residency in anesthesia and will begin his career as an anesthesiologist upon completion in July 2024. Jessica is fortunate to work part-time as an accountant from home so she can care for Ty.
A Little About Mark
Mark loves to work out at the gym, play pick-up basketball and watch sports and TV shows. His favorite shows are Stranger Things and Modern Family. He is a huge college football and NFL fan. His favorite foods are Chipotle burritos and chocolate chip cookies. Mark loves game nights with friends or family. Mark loves being a father. He plays with Ty every chance he gets and loves to make him laugh.
A Little About Jessica
Jessica loves running, reading, baking, and shopping. Her favorite foods are anything from Panera and frozen yogurt. Her favorite TV shows are Gilmore Girls and Murdoch Mysteries. Her favorite place in the world is Disneyland. Ever since Ty was born, he has been the light of her life and she loves playing and cuddling with him.
A Little About Ty
Ty was born prematurely at 34 weeks while we were visiting family for Thanksgiving. After his three-week NICU stay, we were able to bring him home and have cherished him ever since. Ty is now 2.5 years old and loves trucks, airplanes, dinosaurs, and animals. He loves playing at the park on the slides and swimming. He is a fun-loving, happy sweetheart and will make the best big brother.
Our Promise to You
We want nothing more than to add another child to our family. After our recent recurrent pregnancy losses, the pursuit of adoption has brought hope and happiness back into our home. Always know we will unconditionally love and cherish your child and we will make sure that he or she will be proud to be adopted. Please also know that we genuinely care about you and hope to also show you love and friendship throughout this process and beyond.
