Act of Love definitely has a rainbow with a Pot-of-Gold! CEO and founder of Act of Love Adoption Agency, Kathy Kunkel, has brought nearly twenty years of treasure to children, birthparents and adoptive families. Kathy believed in the true joy of adoption and the need for an adoption agency that allowed for choices. A true pioneer in allowing choices for the openness in adoption, Kathy believed in providing an adoption agency where birthparents can choose to have an open adoption, can keep their adoption confidential and be treated as individuals. Birthparents can choose to complete their adoption plan in Utah, stay in their home state or relocate to another state for privacy.
The treasure continues in the wonderful staff at Act of Love Adoption Agency. Act of Love staff is available 24 hours/7 days a week to meet the needs of children, birthparents and adoptive families. On any given day, you will find the Act of Love staff taking birthparents to the doctor or a counseling appointment to talk about their adoption plans. A staff member talking on the phone to adoptive parents or providing a Skype opportunity for birthparents and an adoptive family to talk and get to know each other. Another staff member may be sending pictures and letters from an adoptive family to a birthparent or helping clients complete their paperwork. The Act of Love staff is very committed to providing the best possible experience for all of the clients it serves.
But the true treasure and Pot-of-Gold are the children, birthparents and adoptive families that join the Act of Love family. Each staff member fondly remembers the many clients through the years that have touched their hearts and brought a treasure of memories!
When Kathy isn’t busy with the adoption agency, she is celebrating with her family. At St. Patrick’s Day, she decorates with all of her St. Patrick’s Day decorations, hides chocolate gold coins for all of the children and prepares a “green” dinner for all of her loved ones.
