Dear Birth Parent,
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our family and for considering us as you make this courageous decision of who will parent your child. We are excited to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into our lives to help you imagine your child as part of our family.
Our Journey
We met 7 years ago, and our lives have been eventful and fulfilling. We met through mutual friends and slowly decided to get to know each other. We went on our first date at a comedy club and have been laughing ever since. We have gone to movies, weddings, vacations and traveled the world. We moved in together after 2 years and were engaged after 5 years.
Although, 2020 brought new challenges for the world, our family was able to grow and develop. We got married in front of all our friends and families last summer and then purchased our first home. We are now ready to grow our family and have always known that adoption would bean essential part of our continuing journey.
Our Home
Chris and I now live in a beautiful town close to many cultural and educational centers. Most of our families are within a one-hour drive from our home. We vacation and spend holidays with family and friends. We still have Sunday dinners, cookouts, and family reunions on a consistent basis. We would like to show your child a sense of family and community as it has helped usbecome the people we are today.
Our Future
We are blessed to have occupations which will allow us to take leave separately to ensure your child is raised in a loving home. Our parents and relatives have graciously decided to retire to help us raise your child. Additionally, Alterik has a thriving legal practice that allows him to stay home over the summers. Moreover, we have purchased a home with extra space as we have always planned to grow our family.
