Our Story:
We began dating as teenagers and have been inseparable ever since! One of our favorite things to do together is to travel and experience new places. Our favorite spots to visit so far have been Boston and San Francisco. We can’t wait to share these experiences with our future child!
During our struggle with infertility and treatments, adoption has always been on our minds. While the infertility journey has been emotional, we are excited at the prospect of growing our family through adoption.
About Nate:
Nate is a firefighter/paramedic. His big hobby is sports; he loves playing and watching. Right now, he’s hooked on hockey and plays in a recreational league. He can’t wait to take our future child to professional sporting events and coach their little league teams!
About Afton:
Afton is an elementary school teacher. She loves scrapbooking, crocheting, and anything else that is crafty. She is looking forward to being the kind of mother who is actively involved in our future child’s education and helping them achieve their goals.
Our Family:
We both come from tight-knit families. Our parents live within one mile of one another, so our future child will have easy access to grandparents! Additionally, we have 12 nieces and nephews between our families and they can’t wait to have a new cousin!
