We'd like to thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about who we are. There is no way for us to be able to comprehend what you are going through, but we pray that you will be comforted. We want you to know that we think about you even though we don't know you yet, and we pray for you every day. We hope that you feel peace when considering adoption for your child, and we would be grateful to get to know you. We have been blessed by the gift of adoption once before with our son Noah, and we know it takes a very selfless and courageous person to consider adoption for their child. Whether you choose us or not, we appreciate your interest in us. We feel honored to share more about our lives with you.
Who We Are
Morgan- I am Hispanic and I have brown hair, brown eyes, dimples, and I am 5'1". I am the middle of three girls and I am very close to my sisters, Meghan and Mandi. My parents taught me to have deep faith in God and raised me Christian. I grew up on a ranch in a small town, where I spent my time helping out with hay bales and picking apples with my sisters in our parent's orchard. We are a very close-knit family and get together as often as we can. Since I was a young girl, I knew adoption was something I wanted to pursue when starting a family. My desire was matched when I met John and learned he felt the same way. My hope has been to adopt 2 or more children, and I love that Noah will have that in common with a future sibling. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in counseling. I am currently a stay at home mom and I love every minute of it because I have such a strong bond with Noah, and I plan on staying home with a new baby. I enjoy painting, singing, cooking, baking, riding horses, and playing hide and seek with Noah.
John- I am 5'9 and I have black hair, brown eyes, and I am of Polish descent. My parents always encouraged my Christian faith when growing up. I have an older sister, Carolyn, and an older brother, Jim. I have four nephews and two nieces. I grew up in both the country and city, but developed a big love for the outdoors. I started running in middle school and so far have run 16 marathons, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, and served proudly in the Marine Corps for 8 years as a tank officer. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering. My calling to be an adoptive father goes back many years, and is rooted in my belief that all children deserve a loving home with the same opportunities I had growing up. I have had a few adventures in my life so far, but the best among them is as Morgan's husband and Noah's father. I have had so much joy watching Noah grow, but I know our family is meant to be bigger and our home filled with even more laughter, little voices, and giggles.
In 2018, Noah's beautiful birthmother chose us to be his parents. Adopting him has been the best thing we have ever done in our lives, and we feel forever grateful for his birthmother. Noah is 2.5 years old and is the most energetic and funny little boy. He is an incredible jokester for his age and loves pulling pranks on us. Noah is obsessed with dinosaurs and loves to pretend that he is one while chasing us around the house. He adores being around animals and asks us to take him to the zoo at least once a week. He recently started horseback riding lessons and has really enjoyed it. His best friends are his dogs, Henry and Jaxon, and he loves playing with them every day. He has a great love for babies and cannot wait to have a sibling. He often asks us when "his" baby is coming home and practices carrying his toys around like babies. He prays every night that one day he will have a little sister or brother. It is no doubt that he will make a wonderful big brother.
Our View on Adoption
We truly believe that adoption is a gift. It is a blessing of great love and sacrifice. Because of that selflessness and sacrifice demonstrated to us by Noah's birthmother, we opened our hearts and our lives to open adoption. Open adoption to us means that you will never have to live a day wondering if your child is loved and safe, just as your child will never have to know a day without the love of their first family. We want you to know that we are willing to share with you as your child grows on a level you are comfortable with.
We are extremely excited to get to know you and grow our family through adoption again. We feel that adoption is a gift from God and we feel joy and peace in following God's plan for our life. We hope that you feel at peace in your decision for your child, and we admire you greatly for your love and sacrifice. We want you to know that we are willing, if you are, to share letters, photos, emails, and visits throughout the coming years. We hope this book answers any questions or concerns you may have and has allowed you to learn more about us. We are praying that God will comfort and guide you in your decision. You are in our thoughts and our hearts.
All Our Love,
John, Morgan, & Noah
