Dear Birth Mother,
We are humbled by your decision to consider us as potential parents for your little one. The choice you are making is a courageous one & we admire you for that.
Bringing a little girl into our family has been something that we have discussed & prayed about for years. We are so excited to finally be at a place where we are ready to welcome her into our home.
A little about us…
We have two boys – Ryder (8) and Redford (5). Ryder is very outgoing, friendly, sassy, and thoughtful he loves all things related to sport. Redford is gentle, thoughtful, creative and witty. He loves being outdoors and doing art. Our boys are so excited to have a little sister & haven’t stopped talking about her since the day we told them of our intentions to adopt.
This year we will be celebrating 15 years of marriage. We met in High School (yep – High School sweethearts) and have been together ever since. Tyler was born in California & has a career in Finance. Saffron was born in beautiful New Zealand and has a Bachelors in Environmental & Urban Planning. She currently home-schools our two boys. Both of us are the third child of six.
For the last 5 years we have been travelling and working abroad. We currently live in tropical Singapore & absolutely love it. (Although we still miss Utah and hope to settle back in the US in the future). Our home in Singapore is right by the ocean with plenty of access to parks, playgrounds and beaches to run around on. One of the things we love most about Singapore is that it is very diverse – we have friends & neighbors from every corner of the world.
Our promise to you…
• We promise to love, cherish and protect your little girl with every ounce of our being. She will know without a doubt that she is loved by us, her brothers and by God.
• We promise to do our best to communicate honestly and openly with you over the coming months and years. We want this adoption to be the best it can possibly be for your sweet baby, you and for us.
• We plan to raise your little one with a positive understanding of who you are and your motivations for placing her in our care. This includes sharing with her as much information about her birth family & cultural background as possible. You and your family will forever be an important piece of her life and ours.
• We promise to raise your baby in the same way we are working to raise our sons. To value other human beings like themselves, to value hard work, to find joy in the simple things & most importantly to love and accept themselves. Your little one will be surrounded by family, friends and neighbors who love and celebrate her.
