Hello!
We are extremely thankful for the time you are taking to get to know our family. As we write this letter, our hearts are filled with anticipation, hope, and nerves as this may be a very difficult yet meaningful decision for you. First, we want to thank you for your courage in choosing adoption for your baby. We have experienced adoption first hand and know what a gift it is for individuals and families. Our experience is valuable to us as we begin this journey and we want to promise that the love we will provide to your baby will extend to you.
We have been married six years. We met in collage over nine years ago. Our relationship has always been about friendship and doing what we love. Our love for each other was quickly realized as soon as we started dating and we adore each other more today than when we sealed the deal. We struggled to have our first child but after rounds of fertility treatments we were blessed and now have our son who just turned three years old. He is our world! We want to share our love and life with another child just as much as when we found out we were having a baby. We are prepared to care for, love with everything we have in us, and provide for all your baby’s needs.
Our life:
Seeking out new adventures and always aiming to have some fun is one of our main focuses in our family. We really like to travel and see the world and we also enjoy our time at home. We enjoy hiking, horseback riding, riding ATVs, camping, fishing, and hunting.
We both played collegiate sports and get into anything to do with competition! Our favorite traditions are over the holidays when all our family gets together for softball tournaments, spike ball games, Rook tournaments, and board games. We love the time we spend with our extended family.
A little more about us…
We are both Caucasian and from European decent. Travis has Welch and English heritage and Caitlyn has Danish, English, and Native American heritage.
Travis has provided for his family through his hard work creating and operating several companies. Caitlyn currently is a stay at home mom with a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Together we have created a life full of happiness and adventure. When we are faced with adversity we have faith that we will be made stronger and get through it together.
Our home:
We live in a small town with great friends and family close by. Our home is a great place to raise a family and spend time outdoors. We live on two acres with our four pygmy goats; Lady, Doug, Hot Shot and Smokey, chickens, horses; Ace and Carlos, and our giant dog, named Chai.
It will be our priority to share our child’s life with those who helped create it. We value the potential benefits from having a relationship with you and your family.
