Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you for considering us for such an important decision. We thought it might help to talk about some of the things we care most about: family, diversity, travel/adventure, and making the world a better place.
Family: Lisa and Robert both grew up with a focus on family, and we can promise to love your child and our son Elliott more than anything in the world, and always be in their corner.
Diversity: We are a multi-cultural, mixed-race family, and Lisa is 25% black, 25% Indian, 25% Chinese, and 25% white.
Travel/Adventure: We love traveling and exploring everything around us, from parks, to zoos, to restaurants. We previously lived together for two years in China, and we just moved to Peru in July 2017.
Empathy/Kindness: We both want to make the world a better place, with Lisa working on research to help kids with developmental disabilities, and Robert working on diplomacy.
