Meghan & Adam

Hello! We’re Meghan and Adam (the beagle is Charlie). We’ve been married for nearly 5 years after meeting as chaperones on a youth group ski trip. We are both pastors. Meghan is a chaplain at a nearby university and Adam is a pastor at a United Methodist Church. We learned shortly after our marriage we wouldn’t be able to have children, and are now very eager to become parents through adoption.

We are both fun-loving and try not to take ourselves too seriously. Things we enjoy together include cooking, traveling, gardening, and hiking. Meghan is more of a homebody, whereas Adam tends to like being out and about. We are a good balance to each other, and we have an authentically loving and respectful relationship. We also have a great network of friends and family—they keep us grounded and laughing.

We admire your strength and courage in choosing adoption for your child. We are not perfect people, but we will love your child and we cherish the opportunity to help your child discover who they are in this world. We hope to raise our child in a home of warmth and grace.

We live in a wonderful medium-sized city in the southeast. Our neighborhood is truly lovely, with a number of kids and lots of nearby walking trails and hikes. We love our city and community. We also have easy access to museums (kids, art, and science), sporting events, and arts/performances. We are not extravagant people, but we are willing to spend money on travel. We are especially excited about the mountains and national parks (Adam spent two summers working at Yosemite). Our families are very eager for us to pursue adoption. Meghan’s family lives in another state (though we see them regularly), but Adam’s parents and sister live about 10 minutes from us.

With gratitude, Meghan and Adam
