Dear Birth Mother,
We are so grateful that you have taken the time to get to know our family. Adoption is such an amazing gift and blessing. It takes tremendous courage and a selfless person to choose adoption for their child. Adoption has always been the only way we could be parents. We are both infertile but were extremely excited to get to adopt. We always said that we were meant to be together since neither of us were able to have children. We were extremely lucky that a birth mother chose us to be Knox’s parents in 2014. We can’t even describe how much that moment changed our lives. I have never felt so much love as I did for our son the moment we held him. We have been blessed with the opportunity to try to adopt another child. Knox wants to be a big brother so badly. He asks all the time when he is going to get a baby to bring home. We talk about his adoption story all the time and will do the same with our next child. Adoption is part of their story and we want them to completely understand where they came from and how much of a sacrifice their birth parents made so that we could be their parents. We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to learn a little about our family. We will be thinking about you every day and you will continually be in our hearts. We promise to love your child unconditionally and will always be here for you in any way that you may desire.
Matt
My name is Phillip but I go by my middle name Matt. I was named after Saint Matthew. I am 37 years old. I have an associate’s degree in music business and have worked for UPS for over 18 years. My passion is music and sports. I love going to sporting events especially college football and NHL hockey games. I grew up loving sports thanks to my dad. He was always my coach growing up. I played baseball, football, basketball and ran cross country. My favorite thing to do is take my family to games and cheer on our favorite teams.
Misty
I’m 35 years old and love being a mom. I work at a local Children’s hospital in the Hemophilia clinic. I absolutely love my job and helping children and their families. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in criminal justice and dance. I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. I also danced and performed in college. My favorite type of dance is tap and I still put on my shoes and dance around the house. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I love to go on vacation, especially Disney world. We always go to the zoo, park and football games. As long as I’m spending time with my family I’m happy.
Knox
Knox is very outgoing, smart, energetic and loving little boy. He is three almost four. He loves to play outside and go to preschool. He recently started Hockey lessons per his request. He absolutely loves to get on the ice. He is always so proud of himself after a lesson. He is very smart and learns new things every day. He loves to spend time with all his cousins and always wants someone to play with him. Some of his favorite things right now are Trains, Legos, Hot Wheel and marbles. If he can build it he will love it. We always say he is going to grow up to be an engineer. Knox can’t wait to be a big brother and he will be great at it.
Our Family
Matt and I met fifteen years ago and we started our relationship as friends. It quickly grew to much more and I can confidently say that we are best friends. We have been married for seven years. We were blessed with the adoption of our son in 2014 and are anxiously waiting the chance to complete our family through adoption. We both come from very loving families. We spend almost every weekend spending time with our families. Luckily they all live very close to us which makes it very easy to visit. Your child will have many aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins to grow up with. Our families are very eager for us to adopt again and can’t wait to welcome another baby to the family.

Adoption is an amazing miracle and we are in awe of the sacrifice that you are making for your child. We will not let you down and we will be here for you and your child in any way possible.
