Dear Expectant Parents,
We are a family of four that love to explore!
We are also living proof that adoption is about LOVE. Our lives have been blessed by the miracle of adoption. Our two sons know how special and how loved they are by all family members, including their birth families. We love and admire their amazing birth families.
We believe that “Adoption is not a second choice, a fallback option, or because you can’t have ‘your own,’ but wholly believing you are seeking to bring home the very child God created with you and your home in mind, fully equipping you to be the very parent He created you to be.”- Author Unknown. We have learned that our trials can become our greatest blessings. We also know that God loves YOU, and He will lead and guide you during this challenging time. We realize you have an incredible amount of love for your baby and want the best possible life for him/her.
Brooke’s comments about Jared:
The first time I saw Jared playing with his nieces and nephews I knew I wanted to marry him. They were all laughing within seconds of playing, and I knew he would be an excellent husband and father. His easy-going attitude and caring nature helps him make friends with everyone he meets, especially children. Jared is our sons’ hero. Even after working a 12 hour shift at the hospital, Jared looks forward to coming home to play with them and read them books before bedtime. Jared is also a never failing optimist. His faith is strong and he always reassures me that things will work out. He loves me no matter what- even if I have terrible morning breath! He’s always there to give me a kiss or to hold me tight until I feel better. I also love his great sense of humor. He is constantly making me laugh by coming up with clever sayings that I like to call “Jaredisms.” They never fail to make me smile.
Jared’s comments about Brooke:
I love coming home to my beautiful family. Brooke provides a special atmosphere in our home where love abounds. She loves taking care of our family and home and cooking us delicious meals. Brooke is gentle, compassionate, and loves children. Brooke loves being a full-time mom, and always puts our family’s needs first. Brigham, Benson, and I love Brooke and enjoy spending time with her. Brooke can often be found singing songs, reading, playing games, and gardening with our two precious boys. Brooke is my best friend and most trusted counselor. She is a spiritual leader; she helps us read our scriptures daily and pray often. We are a team, and do everything together. I like to spend time with her going on walks, 4-wheeling, mountain biking, skiing, traveling, visiting family, eating good food, and countless other things. I have been blessed to have Brooke in my life.
About Brigham:
Brigham (Brig) is our energetic 7 year-old. He is the spark of energy that makes our family light up! Brig is a natural leader and makes friends easily. He excels at school and his favorite subjects are P.E. and math. He loves riding his bike, Legos, Star Wars, and Italian food. He is our little book worm and if he is not outside playing you will find him curled up with a book. He is a great big brother and considers Benson to be his best friend. He is hoping for a baby sister but would be thrilled with either a boy or a girl. He has promised to help change all of the poopy diapers.
About Benson:
Benson is our creative 4 year-old. We never have enough paper and tape in our house because he is always making something! He also loves music, animals and jumping on the trampoline. Benson started preschool this year and loves being with his friends and learning. He is a sweetheart, and is always very aware of everyone’s feelings and needs. Benson is always by Brigham’s side, ready to join in on whatever adventure they conjure up together! Benson LOVES babies; He would like a baby brother AND sister. He is excited about becoming a big brother and has promised to be the baby’s protector.
