Dear Birthparent,
We cannot begin to imagine what you are currently thinking and experiencing. We understand that this may be a very challenging time for you, as you determine the best option for you and your precious unborn child. We want you to know that we are so grateful to you for considering an adoption plan and that you are giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and tell you more about our family.
Over the years, we have not had the opportunity to have a child complete our family and we would not be able to do this if it were not for you. What we cannot do alone, we can accomplish together and build an extended family focused on the best interests of a child. The future of this tiny human will be provided for in a truthful, educated, loving, and fun environment. We have always made our own path in life and want to share our values of independence, hard work, kindness, respect, and humor.
If you choose to make an adoption plan, we want to assure you that we promise to:
• Respect you and the level of openness that is agreed upon.
• Unconditionally love and cherish your child with all of our hearts and provide for him or her in every way, to the fullest extent possible.
• Navigate this process as a team with compassion, empathy, and understanding.
• Always focus on the best interests of your child.
As we have struggled to have a child for ourselves to love and cherish, we can only hope for your consideration to move forward into our futures together. Raising a child won’t be easy; it will take time, teamwork, and be a labor of love, but it will be worth every moment.
