Dear Expectant Parent,
We are excited that you are interested in us to parent your child. So first, we want to say thank you so much for considering us in your adoption plan. Second, we want you to know that we think you are pretty awesome for considering adoption for your baby. Choosing adoption takes courage and strength for which we admire you. We know that you have many choices at this time and that you will be well equipped to make the best decision for you and your child.
We are Charlie and Beth and we can’t wait for you to get to know us a little more! We have been married for over 13 years and have grown a strong bond over those years. We make sure to spend time together each day, which is usually cooking and eating dinner followed by hanging out until bedtime. We love to travel and make it a priority every year. We enjoy visiting zoos and aquariums so that is a must whenever we travel. We also enjoy catching the latest movie at the theatre with a large bowl of popcorn in tow. We are both close to our families and make sure to spend time with them often.
Charlie works as an auto mechanic and enjoys golfing, fishing and playing video games. Beth is a pharmacist and loves to cook, dance and sing (out of tune haha) and volunteer at church. We have a dog, Zoe, and she the sweetest, most loving animal we have ever met. We can’t imagine our lives without her and can’t wait to share her with your child. We have wanted to be parents for several years now. We tried naturally and with fertility treatments but God had different plans for us. We have 100% decided that adoption was the path for us and we are so excited to be on this journey!
We promise to…
- Always put your child first!
- Teach them good values, the big and small ones
- Teach them that being kind and offering grace to others will bring great joy to their lives along with the people around them
- Teach them to know how to work hard but also play hard
- Take them to church and get them involved with other kids so they can find their heart for Jesus
- Support their decision when it’s time for them to decide what their future looks like
- Take them traveling, visit zoos and aquariums, play outside with them and be involved in any activities they are interested in
- Pay attention to the small stuff like letting them lick the batter bowl and teaching them how to ride a bike!
- The biggest promise that we can give you is to simply love your child every single moment of their life!
We are open to any level of involvement that you want to have throughout your child’s life. We will tell him/her the story of their adoption from the beginning and always tell them of the angels that sent them to us. We want your child to be proud to be adopted and know that they have two sets of parents that have loved them from the beginning.
