Thank you so much for allowing us to introduce ourselves and our family to you! I am sure we cannot fully understand what you are experiencing at this time of difficult decision making, but we admire your strength and the love you have for your child. As parents, we know that the love between parent and child is indescribable and starts before your baby is born. We want to assure you that we are ready to love you both unconditionally if we are blessed to add you to our family. We hope this sneak peak into our family life will help you in your decision as you see who we are and what being in our family could be like for your child. We wish you all the best!
Family is the most important thing to Cameron and me! Cameron grew up in a family of seven kids, and I grew up with three other siblings. When we got married 8 years ago, we knew that we wanted a big family of our own. We were blessed with three beautiful children before health risks for Kirsten made it impossible to have anymore. We are excited now to be able to grow our family through adoption. We LOVE being parents and look forward to loving and cherishing another child. Our kids are also eager to have more siblings to play with, especially our daughter Lucy who thinks it is about time for a sister. All of our kids talk about their new sister often and cannot wait to meet her.
Our family loves to spend time together playing games, having family movie night, traveling, going camping, celebrating holidays and visiting extended family. We are lucky to live in a place that makes it easy to do all those things. Most of our extended families live within the same state providing many opportunities to get together. We also live in a great home with a big backyard, in a neighborhood with lots of kids. We are minutes from the nearest canyon providing great hiking and camping opportunities. We are a religious Christian family and enjoy being in walking distance to our church.
Although we have not met, we have already been praying for you and we feel such a love for you! We promise to tell your child regularly how lucky they are to have two sets of parents that love her and are seeking for her best interest!
We hope to include you in our lives. We want you to have the involvement you seek and are comfortable with in our shared child’s life. We see you as another wonderful member of our extended family. We know that you will always be an important part of your child’s life and therefore you will always be an important part of our lives as well. We hope to be able to have pictures of you for your child to see and look forward to sending you pictures of your child as she reaches her many milestones ahead.
