Hello! We are Arturo and Rebecca.
Our hearts are with you as you make your adoption plan. We want you to know that the love we have to give your baby matches that of the love and respect we have for you. Please know that whatever decision you make for you and your baby, we wish you the absolute best.
We’re delighted to introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into our lives, our love, our hopes and dreams. We met eight years ago and instantly connected with each other’s commitment to family, friends, and community. After spending two years getting to know each other by adventuring and sharing our lives and our dreams, we celebrated our marriage with our dearest friends and family.
When we married, we became a family of three with Arturo’s daughter, Mariah—and five, if you count our loveable dogs, Duke and Pearl. We both knew that we wanted more than anything to grow our family, but we were met with a series of discouraging miscarriages. As a couple, and as a family, we excitedly decided that we would pursue adoption! The children in our lives, from nieces an nephews to close family friends, bring us such great joy that we could think of nothing more fulfilling than adding to our family through adoption.
Sweet Matilda was born in 2016 and we cannot imagine life without her. We are so incredibly thankful for her and her birth mother and family each and every day. She is sweet and nurturing, feisty and determined, and we know she will make a fantastic big sister and middle child (sorry about that middle part, Matilda). She adores babies and we know she will be excited to have a real live one at home. Our incredible experience with adoption lead us to know in our hearts that we’re not done! Our friends and family are all so supportive of us, and the their excitement and support fills our home and our hearts.

Rebecca
“I grew up the youngest of two daughters in a safe and loving family. My family was very close while growing up, just as it is today. We get together on almost all holidays, birthdays, and most Sundays. We live within a few miles of one-another and wouldn’t have it any other way! Arturo says that I have an excellent sense of humor, strong morals, that I am innately inquisitive, and I love to travel and experience new and different places. He also says that I am an excellent cook! I have a knack for gardening and recently took up sewing as a hobby. As a family we enjoy swimming, traveling, and quiet nights at home with our girls. We also love a good game of football with our nephews. I work in private education and feel very strongly about giving our children – all children – the gift of education. ”
Arturo
“I grew up as the youngest of two boys in an equally safe, loving and lively family. We’re also very close, with a large extended family that visits often to celebrate birthdays and milestones. Rebecca says that I am fun loving family man, who enjoys practical jokes, good music, family bike rides, Mariachi concerts, carne asada, and spending quality time with those I love. My wife and daughters are my focus, and I love spending every moment I have with them. I work in law enforcement and have for over 19 years. I knew I wanted to be involved in law enforcement from a very young age and I enjoy going to work every day. It is fulfilling to be able to help people in their time of need and to serve the community.”
We are both so fortunate to have great jobs that we love, and that allow us to live the life we dreamt of having together. Family is close by, and drops in often. We have a spacious four-bedroom home, really great neighbors whom we know and like, and a really great park just a few doors down — an idyllic spot to raise children.

We are eager to introduce him or her to fun activities, the arts, music, sports, travel, education, and most importantly, we look forward to giving her or him all our hearts.
