Dear Birthmother,
We cannot imagine what you have gone through to come to the decision to place your child for adoption. We have been praying for you for a long time and we know that you are motivated by great love for your child. We are so thankful you have come to Act of Love find a loving home for your child!
We very much want to be parents but found out we are unable to have a biological child. While coming to terms with this news has been hard, the opportunity to be adoptive parents is so exciting! As they grow up our plan is to be very open and honest about how our family is different, unique, and very special. We look forward to sharing about how our families were brought together out of our shared love for them. It will be exciting to be able to tell them the story and help him or her learn who you are and how much you love them. Raising a child is a big adventure we can’t wait for it to begin!
We are so grateful that you have made this decision for your child, whether you choose us to parent your child or not. We promise to raise your child in a secure and loving home. We will encourage them to become whoever he or she longs to be, and we promise to help them understand the amazing love you have for them. We would love to have an open adoption if that is something you’re interested in. We’re so excited to expand our family and hope you will trust us enough to raise your child.
